Those cameras can zoom in to your label on your pants, to see how big they are.

Oh great, ANOTHER reason to be self conscious in a department store :(

I think this same thing, but at the same time, so what? As long as you're not actually intending on stealing anything, does it matter if someone in a security booth follows your around via camera for a few minutes? The worst that could happen is someone who is really out to steal something goes unnoticed.

I hate to admit this, but I type ~100wpm with only three fingers. I only use my left index finger and right index and middle finger. Well, and my thumbs for the space bar.

I guess that's what happens when I decided to play MMORPGs when my parents thought I was using Mavis Beacon.

When I was 4, I heard my parents having sex the night before and proceeded to yell "Fuck me, fuck me!" to everyone at my cousin's birthday party. What funny/embarrassing stories from your childhood do you have reddit? by Peenersin AskReddit

I remember during winter break, when I was about 9 or 10, I wanted to make a website to share my Dragon Ball Z obsession with the world. So little ol' me goes ahead and makes a website on something like Lycos or Tripod. I don't remember the URL but I'm sure it was something like ~/dbzroolz or something like that. I remember putting all the effort into this website and creating a masterpiece that only a 10 year old in the early 2000's could.

Come a few days later, I want to share my creation with my extended-family who is all at my family's house for the holidays, so I gather everyone around the computer and type in the url...lo and behold...inter-racial gangbang porn for my parents, their parents and siblings (some of whom traveled all the way from Japan) cousins, and etc to see.

Still do this day, I don't know how this happened, most likely the site was replaced by a bot or something like that since my password was most likely "password" or "goku123" or something like that.

I still have a suspicion that my mom still believes I made a porno site at 10. She must be so proud.

Did you know, Puma was created by a pair of brothers, Adolf (nicknamed: Adi) and Rudolf Dassler? What you probably didn't know is that in 1948, Rudolf shuned his younger brother, Adolf because he shared a name as that other Adolf. Well, turns out, Adolf went on to create his own shoe company to compete with Rudolf and Puma, it was called Adias.

Of course, since you made the orginal comment, so you probably already knew that, I am just tired, and wanted to tell a story.

Yup. That's about how it goes. People leave garbage because they don't want to keep it in their bag, home, or whatever. One of my past co-workers claimed to have found discarded sex toys. And last time I saw a movie in a theater, I watched a lady clean out her purse and just throw the crap she didn't need in it on the ground.

Oh...My point was that every theater has someone who makes up a story about finding a condom in a movie like that, or Passion of the Christ, or some other unlikely movie. Sometimes it's even it someone who "just quit" or for some reason isn't accessible for a confirmation. Now THATS an inconvenient truth. (har-har-har)

(There was one guy I worked with who had a British accent, and claimed to be from England, I ran into a couple years after I quit and he forgot about that little ruse. Turns out he was just another hipster. Coincidentally, he was the one who found a condom in a theater, just DAYS before I started working)

I dunno where you're from, but here in Portland, Oregon, USA: There are a couple companies/groups such as "Portland Perks" and "Living Local" that work with local businesses to sell discount gift-cards, one per week or one per day depending on the businesses.

The deals are usually 50% off the face price of the gift card. So a $60 gift card to a local steak-house will only cost $30 through the middle company. It's a pretty cool thing if you're willing to check what the deals are daily, and actually go to the places they're for.

This has nothing to do with the context of this thread, but relates to your comment...

One Christmas when I was 14 or 15 - my grandmother gave me a gift-card for $100! I was so psyched, until I realized it was for Safeway (for those not familiar, it is a super-market that stocks meat, produce, other food items, cleaning supplies, and other misc. stuff) which didn't have any video games, clothes, or pretty much anything that would of been of interest to a 15 year old boy.

Luckily, this was going on right on the advent of disposable, pre-paid credit cards. So for $105 I was able to purchase a $100 pre-paid visa card and spent it across multiple stores on multiple occasions.

Looking back now, as a broke college student, a $100 Safeway gift card sounds like a pretty sweet gift, lol.

You have no idea. I worked in a cinema and had no problems cleaning up messes, it's the messes people make just because they know they won't have to clean it up that made me complain. People will deliberately dump full tubs of popcorn in their seats, some would even bring in outside garbage and just leave it laying around. Cigarette boxes and bags of butts and ashes, diapers, even used feminine-hygene supplies were a couple of the common things I saw on a regular basis.

If you make a mess just because you know someone else, who isn't you, will be cleaning it up...well then, you're not a very nice person.

When I used to work at a theater (worst job I've ever had) I didn't have any problem with the people who drop some pop corn here or there, even handfuls. It were the people who would just dump the popcorn and their soda on the floor when they were done with it just because they knew someone else had to clean up the mess.

Do you what a pain it is to clean up a mixture of popcorn and carbonated sugar-water when you're only allocated about 4 minutes to clean a theater before management starts to get antsy?

I spent a year in Cpari and it wasn't THAT bad. Of course I had a third floor corner unit, and knew everyone I was living with. It was quiet 90% of the time and they responded to maintenance requests in less than 24 hours most the time (I've been begging Von Klein to come fix my garbage disposal for over 3 months now). Apart from that though, Capri is a morally bankrupt company that finds new, creative, and innovative ways to screw students on a regular basis, my girlfriend has ALL sorts of stories from living there a few months earlier this year.
