Well, reading some of these has jogged my memory. At my Canadian university, there is a bit of a rivalry between certain faculties (schools), which has resulted in some pretty ridiculous but awesome pranks. The Engineering faculty, to prank the Forestry faculty, uprooted a tree and replanted the tree upside down. Always a funny sight to walk by on the way to class. Another prank (also led by Engineering) was walking a cow up a very tall bell tower staircase. I'm pretty sure they had to slaughter that cow, then take it down with a crane.
