well, first of all, i did not make this dish. i ate it at a japanese restaurant. secondly, contrary to what you said, the cheese did go really well with the unagi (or at least thats my personal opinion). it was grilled cheese so its smoky flavour blended really well with the grilled unagi! maybe you should try it some time!

it depends on where you are but if you can't find it, you can substitute it with normal tofu and maybe sprinkle some green tea powder if you really want some green tea taste to it? not sure how it'll turn out but with the honey and orange juice with it, it should taste ok. :) Let me know how it goes if you do try it!

Even though you don't necessarily need rice in your diet, having a variety of carbohydrate foods not only makes eating fun and varied, but also minimises the risk of over/under-consuming any particular nutrient. If you don't like rice, you can try having other carbohydrate based foods like pasta and noodles! Also, other grains like cous-cous is great too! If you want a healthier alternative, try brown rice (it has more fibre to keep you full for longer!). Also, you can try varying the type of potatoes you have...eg. try sweet potato? Hope this helps and makes eating more interesting rather than a chore! :D

here's the recipe:

Ingredients -plain flour 4tbsp (can replace 2 tbsp flour with 2 tbsp quick cooking oats for a healthier option) -1 egg -3 tbsp milk (can use low fat milk for a healthier option) -2 tbsp cocoa -2 tbsp sugar -3 tbsp butter (melted) (can use 2 tbsp olive oil instead for a healthier option) -1/2 tsp vanilla essence

Garnish -1/2 tbsp chocolate chips -2 tbsp vanilla yoghurt (can use a low fat option to make it healthier)

Method 1. Whisk (with a fork) the egg and sugar in a small mixing bowl until frothy. 2. Add in the milk and butter (or olive oil), whisk well. 3. Add flour (and oats if used), oats and cocoa in a microwavable mug, mixing well. 4. Pour the mixture into a mug. 5. Stir well again with a fork. 6. Place mug in a microwave and cook for 3 minutes on HIGH (1000 WATTS) 7. Use a fork/spoon to gently remove the mug cake and place on a serving plate. 8. Allow to cool for about 1 minute. 9. Garnish the cake with yoghurt and chocolate chips.

Now, enjoy your yummy creation!
