Personally, I enjoy the music, but looking at nothing but an orchestra is boring. At least with ballet and opera you're seeing movement and color and you're following a story. It's very easy to zone out watching an orchestra. I know this sort of takes away from concentrating on the performers and the music, but perhaps if the show was accompanied by something else it would be better. Maybe a dinner, or even a classical accompaniment played to a film with no sound.

Actually, I am very critical of the Bible as we know it today. The set of books that we use was put together in 365 AD (someone correct me if I'm wrong). However, there are dozens, possibly hundreds, of other books. Some were excluded because of historical inaccuracies, some because they didn't fit the Catholic agenda. I for one am more inclined to trust some of the Apocryphal books that were excluded than some of the ones in the Bible. Now, this is for historical accuracy and trustworthiness of the source. The issue of believing in the divinity is another thing.

In all fairness, even though Timothy is a Pauline epistle, it is widely regarded to have not been written by Paul at all. It was written by a ghost writer after Paul died. Whether you believe in God and divinity and such, this automatically discredits Timothy as anything valid IMO.
