I would play, should be noted that there kind of is a pokemon MMO out there, but I warn you it more or less sucks: http://www.pokemonworldonline.net/

It's currently in beta, and the XP gain is like 1/10th of real pokemon, and if you want anything good you gotta give them money (which because of their fear of getting sued by nintendo, it's really hard to find a link to give them money). Plus, you get random idiots trying to duel you every second of the day, because you need reputation to get anywhere in the game, and fighting players is the only real way to get it.

2hrs in, 30-40min played, still loved it but kind of disheartened by the shabby matchmaking system. Will still buy it, but grudgingly.

I was at a Boston Pizza once where they made the wrong pizza 3 times, and then when they finally had it right it stuck to the pan and couldn't be removed. Admittedly the last one wasn't the wait staff, but still, how do you get the wrong toppings on a three topping pizza 3 times?
