Alot of producers aren't male. Just a few examples: Daft punk are robots, The Bloody Beetroots are Spidermen, Feed Me is a green cartoon, Deadmau5 is a mau5, Video Violence is some sort of LED faced creature, and Skrillex is an Emo.
