Your username is now a cocktail. How is it made? by kolinskyin AskReddit

First pour two shots of gin, or is it vodka, I can never tell them apart. Then, um, put some orange juice or something in there, and then, uh, salt? Squeeze several fruit things in there and mix it up. Oh and ice too, I think.

A larger portion of supply is coming from unconventional sources and imports, which helps to drive up costs.

Oops sorry for being vague. I'm agreeing with you. I haven't found any data for the exact period in question, but oil consumption is closely tied to population growth, and by 2030 the world population will be double what it was in 1980.

From Wikipedia: "World crude oil demand grew an average of 1.76% per year from 1994 to 2006, with a high of 3.4% in 2003-2004"

Actually, demand for oil has gone up quite a bit since 1986. Especially in developing economies such as China and India.

I didn't know they were planning a Shadyside location. It'll be some nice competition for Mario's.

Shell Oil Picks Pittsburgh-area Site for Multi-billion-dollar Petrochemical Refinery by catskulin pittsburgh

New jobs are new jobs, and it seems like jobs in the oil, gas and chemicals industries are higher paying than most. But, on the other hand I haven't heard a lot of positives about the hydro-fracking process

Awesome news. Always good to hear about new economic development/jobs in and around Pittsburgh. The local population seems to be split 50/50 though on whether or not Marcellus Shale is a net positive for the region.

Whats the silliest fight you've ever been in? by OBLIVIOUS2EVERYTHINGin AskReddit

I once grabbed a friend by his backpack straps and slammed him up against a wall and told him "I will fucking kill you," because he said the Cosby show sucked. To be fair, he had been getting on everyone's nerves for a while, and I think it was finals week and I was already stressed.

Does everyone want/need the approval of their parents or is this more gender specific? by wellthatsnotgoodin AskReddit

[–]whosabadnewbie 1 point2 points ago

I think it goes beyond just needing to prove themselves. Many of my guy friends in college became self sufficient far sooner than my girl friends, and even now a few years out of college I know girls who still get financial support from their parents, but less so with the guys.
