This might get buried, but I have a funny personal story about George Clinton.

I used to work in Dewey Beach, DE at a Rita's a few years ago, and GC & The Parliament Funkadelic came to play that night at Bottle & Cork. He arrived a few hours early, rolled into the Rita's with that same attire, and said, "HEY! LEMME SEE WHERE YA GOT THE BANANA SPLITS!"

We of course, being a water ice establishment, did not have banana splits. So I told him I was sorry we didn't have that. "WELL OK, BUT HOW BOUT SOME CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM WITH BLUEBERRIES!" At this point I'm trying not to laugh. We didn't have ice cream either.

In the end I just felt bad because he said he drove a really long time to get here and was in the mood for a banana split.

Poor George.
