Hey everyone. Im looking to move to another state, and youre one of them! Quite a few question inside. by vaporizorin newhampshire

[–]vaporizor[S] 0 points1 point ago

Thanks for all that info, Im going to add liberty mutual and sun to my excel sheet of job possibilities. I plan on checking out a lot of cities (travel by either rentacar or greyhound/trains) when I visit and try to get a little reddit meetup going when I visit just to meet some people. Ultimately it does depend on what job I can get, and I planned that when I do get an offer Ill try and roommate with people for a year, drive my stuff up in a uhaul and keep whatever is too much in storage.

I dont think Ill be looking for a job in MA, the whole point is to get a job where I move and I think Ill be happy in NH, I dont really take advantage of the "big city" of NYC its not really what I want to do right now.

This is the same things as the Waynes bros "white chicks" and that was an actual movie. Talk about a double standard.

Hey thanks for the info the more I find out the more excited I get. Right now Im seriously looking at NH or MN and will take a trip next spring. I found this cool site city-data.com while I was searching and will thoroughly read through their topics. Honestly it really depends where I find a job in my field, but the healthcare industry is really good in both states. The one reason Im really leaning towards NH is that its closer to NY so I can still keep intouch easily with friends and family that stay behind.

I dont really know where i stand religiously, Im not religious at all and lean more towards athiesm, but a apart of me doesnt know. Basically it doesnt play a role in how a live my life, I do what I think is right. Politically-wise I dont agree with any politicians anymore, although I am mostly liberal.

Im not a bachelor with money by any means but if I can land a better job than what I have now I can be on my way. I understand some areas are expensive, but NYC is pretty damn expensive with all the taxes we pay and inflation in general so I think I can handle the economy over there unless Im totally wrong about that.

The main reason Im looking at bigger cities would be for the better chance of job opportunity and growing a career. When I get settled in I am deff looking forward to the nightlife!

I love snowboarding, havnt had the time to go the last 2 years, but Im looking forward to doing it again. Im getting kinda excited about NH. Ill take a vacation up there next winter/spring. I plan on taking 2 weeks off and traveling to all my top choices, maybe try to go to a reddit meet up and meet people in the area, because my whole life is in NY and where ever I plan on going Ill pretty much be totally alone, but its not something Im worried about.

Yes NH is doing really well economically, from what heard word of mouth, and articles I read about the best cities/states to live in the USA, NH shows up on every one of them. With the no income/sales tax so far it looks like a really good move for me and a good place to settle my mom for retirement.

I can handle any weather too, I lived in Faribanks, Alaska for about a year when I was younger and loved it. Thanks for letting me know about the Healthcare areas, I will add them to my spreadsheet Im making with all the areas I have to look into.

Out of curiosity how come? I didnt do much research yet, still just getting a handle on things, but from what I researched Boston doesnt even show up on the articles for best places to live economically/cost of living wise.

Im probably going to lean more toward the bigger city areas, what about Dover/Merrimack? From what I looked into those are big cities too right?

Thanks for the heads up, from the articles I read Dallas & Huston are always on the top 10 thriving cities, but people I spoke to about it pretty much told me what you just said and Im taking that advice seriously. Im really leaning towards Dover/Merrimack NH, Minniapolis MN, Louisville CO, or Seattle WA.

I also plan on looking into West Virginia or Oregon, but those are the area Ill research last.

Turning 25, live in NYC & will have my bachelors in business management & finance in December. Looking for a state in the USA with a low cost of living and good economy (atleast compared to other states). by vaporizorin IWantOut

Hey out of curiosity do you live there? can you tell me about it? I never traveled much and dont really have experience investigating places I plan on moving. Mostly google searches of cost of living of ______ and economy/weather.

Ultimately I plan on taking 2 weeks off of work and traveling to my top choices after researching them/areas in the city Id like to move, and companies/recruiters Id like to meet with.

Also I will probably head to subreddits of the cities/state and ask some specific questions there.

Right now Im thinking of New Hampshire, Dallas/Huston TX, or your suggestion as it does check out when I look it up.

Which credit card offers the best frequent flyer program? by vaporizorin personalfinance

[–]vaporizor[S] 0 points1 point ago

Hey thanks for the info. I'm gonna check out the site when I get home. I always pay off my card and never paid any interest. My credit score used to be 800 something but now its in the high 700s. Right now I'm carrying a balance on a 0% for 15 months card for my summer classes, will either get a credit line increase to put my last semester on it and will never do it again. I just consider it extreme circumstances and didn't wanna pay interest on the loan. I can have all that paid off by next summer. If I can't get the credit line increase ill have to open a capital one 0% for 18 months.

Mass Effect 3: Rebellion Pack announced, releases May 29th, is free by zakislamin Games

[–]vaporizor -3 points-2 points ago

Its free because multiplayer is dieing, this is just some life support. Also every mass effect official announcment on facebook is bombed with anger about the ending. They really have no choice. Charging for anything new for ME3 at this point would not be good for them.

My last 0% apr was like an 8k limit, I'm pretty sure I can get around there, and I only need to charge 3k then I'm done. They usually match the limit I already have on other cards. I have other ways to pay for it but this would be the best imo. Worst case scenario is I take out the student loan @ 6% but I really would like to avoid that.

I'm also working full time, just need something I can charge my last semesters tuition to and pay it off in 4-5 months. I only do this because I only qualify for the student loans that accrue interest while I'm in school, and rather not accrue anything at all.
