My question is are ISPs REALLY willing to cut off their customers and therefore their revenue?

Yes. in fact, it is so low that instead of making a concise, well thought out retort to your comment I am simply going to lash out and insult you.

You're a douche.

My beliefs are directly in line with yours.

What I think would be cool, if Heaven existed, is if wrongly put to death people got to stand at the pearly gates and deny entry personally the people who accused and convicted them.

What media center software should I go with? by Condawgin cordcutters

[–]toiletscribble 12 points13 points ago

Windows media center is not great for downloaded stuff. It isn't horrible but to get it up to speed with XBMC or Plex there are a bunch of addond and 3rd party stuff. It is however, awesome at livetv if you use something like a HD Home Run.

For downloaded material XBMC and Plex are simply astounding. What I currently do is use both. You can add xbmc or plex's icons right into the windows memdia center menu and when clicked it will bring up those programs. When you exit it goes right back to WMC.

If watching livetv along with downloaded and streaming go windows media center. If only streaming and downloaded files go plex or xbmc

Not sure either. The only reason I would turn it off is if I was using something not appropriate for an HTPC like a monster server.
