Well either two things are happening. 1) He's lost interest and is fine with minimal texting and contact as a way to break it off. 2) He literally just doesn't want to talk sometimes. I'm assuming your a female and speaking from experience we tend to need constant validation we are special and he wants us.

Now. That being said. NINE MONTHS HOLY SHIT. That is way too long for anyone to deal with pain like this. New plan. Write down everything you need to say to him. Then have the mother of all come to Jesus talks with him. List the good in the relationship. List the bad. List what you need to work on. Lay everything out on the table. You'll feel like you're being a bitch. You'll feel like you're whining. But you have to be able to communicate your feelings to him and TELL him what you need in a relationship.

Here's the hard part. He's either going to feed it all right back to you and fight for the relationship with you. (this is the good response. If he's willing to fight that's have the battle.) Or...he's not. If he's just apologetic and "well that's how I am"...I'm so sorry honey. It might be time to seriously consider walking away. It will hurt, but if he can't give you what you need, a lifetime with him would hurt more.
