I don't know if this is true for me. I consider myself in pretty good cardio shape. I run about 30 miles a week, long distance and sprints. I still don't enjoy it though.

I've tried it all. I've tried sports like soccer, lacrosse basketball, rowing, fencing, kickboxing, etc. I've tried other things like running, cycling, lifting, bodyweights,etc. No matter what it is, I always dislike being there, but I put up with it.

I guess it's mostly just that I hate the way it feels. Feeling sore, tired, out of breath, etc. It's not like I hate exercise in general, it's mostly that it's out of my comfortable zone.

Is there any disadvantage to splitting up exercises throughout the day? For example, do squats in the morning, deadlifts 2 hours later, lunges at night, etc? Also, is it bad to take long rests between sets? Is it bad to take long rests between reps?

I do intermittent fasting as well, and I'm pretty good at keeping with it, but whether I'm in the fasting or eating period, I'm still thinking about food.
