Iran has enough uranium to enrich for five nukes, experts say -- IAEA report finds Tehran is accelerating its enrichment pace by Kaffirin Israel

Which has nothing to do with what I was talking about. But thanks hothead. Umad?

I love how everyone knows Israel has nukes even though they deny it. Iran denies they have nukes and everyone believed them. People are finally starting to wake up to reality after a decade of fantastic media manipulation by the Persians. Hats off to them.

They view the nuke as their way back into the good graces of the Arab Penninsula but they'll still be shunned.

What "amazing fact" or colloquialism do you know is actually wrong, and you're sick of correcting people about it? by TestZeroin AskReddit

What about Paul Revere though? He was also that height by the day's standards but when I toured his home in Boston I could not even walk through it standing up (and i was 13 years old at the time).

Was this a nutritional thing?

I heard that Reddit likes mummified cats. Here is one and a picture of the barn I found it in. by thedevilsdictionaryin WTF

Isn't jerky the opposite of mummified? The reason I ask is because I noticed a jerky kit recently has attachments that appeared to be for extruding some kind of meat paste. It kinda turned me off to jerky in general.

Yeah, see.. I don't think fabricating a story wherein I was attempting to completely disprove the existence of the Deir Yassin incident would be considered winning.

If you are an author of fiction, perhaps you could consider it a small victory, but only if you include it in your current project.

Dude, why are you so damned angry and defensive? That's the disadvantage you have. You take this topic so seriously and your mind is clouded by emotion. I wish you could discuss it with me without getting upset.

I'm pretty sure I paid something like that, maybe even less for a pita of falafel and a coke in Bethlehem. I was blown away. I think it was less than the coke alone costs in Jerusalem proper.

I've never actually been in any Palestinian homes, no. I have been in many Jordanian ones though. Also couch surfing is more popular there too so many people do mix it up more than you would in Palestine. Jordan is more relaxed in many ways. I did not see any book shelves in the homes I was in, only a television, which everyone was gathered around constantly.

$20 is a lot in Palestine. That's like ten falafel lunches with chips and a coke. If I was poor I'd rather have the lunches than the knowledge.

That's my only point.

You're serisously citing Wikipedia in an effort to deny that the massacre at Deir yassin took place

Not at all. I'm citing Wikipedia to show that the "massacre" was greatly exaggerated and used as propaganda... as it still is today.

If you want Catching on Fire in Arabic, it will also cost you dearly. People are poor, they cannot afford it. Thus they stay uneducated unless they can find a good library or pirate the works.

It's all very interesting. Somehow Michele Bachmann was able to attain Swiss Citizenship this past week. I want that. My grandparents came over on the boat. I'm SOL, apparently. I think my mom or grandma would be eligible and then possibly me?

Even then we just found out there's some Italian connections in there so what is our actual ethnicity at this point? I just recently was traveling Central America and all my friends there were Palestinian/Lebanese etc. Spanish speaking Arabs!

News flash, there is lots of other questions to ask. Does that person have the right of attaining French citizenship?

And what if that person's family migrated, to say Central America, from an area known as Trans Jordan in the early 1920's, are they Palestinian or Jordanian or French? What if the person was Jewish and his birth certificate says Palestine circa 1947. Are they then Palestinian as well? Are you recognizing them too?

I guess you need to do some research.

Apartheid genocidal Israel is morally repugnant.

And what morality have you for perpetuating the same, tired old myths? Times have changed little since the Protocols of the Elders of Zion were released.

"Islam Today" - Khaled Abu Toameh, a self-described "Israeli-Arab-Muslim-Palestinian" journalist discusses why Israel is not an apartheid state. (5/09)

"Apartheid in Israel? The facts say otherwise" - There is no apartheid in Israel. Nor is there apartheid in Gaza and the West Bank. The territories came under Israeli control in 1967 following the Six-Day War. For 20 years Israel controlled them with nearly no security measures: almost no checkpoints, no fences and no controlled roads. However, during the first Palestinian uprising in 1987 and again during the 1990s, Israel was forced to toughen its security measures. Before the uprising began, more then 120,000 Palestinians worked in Israel. In every Palestinian household there was at least one person who worked in Israel. The workers entered the country freely and their standard of living was among the highest in the Middle East. (The author, Reda Mansour is an Israeli Druze and the current consul general of Israel to the southeastern United States.) - (4/1/09)

Like the facts you never seem to see?

"I asked Dr. Khalidi how we should cover the story. He said, 'We must make the most of this.' So he wrote a press release, stating that at Deir Yassin, children were murdered, pregnant women were raped, all sorts of atrocities." Gelber writes that Khalidi told journalists on April 11 that the village's dead included 25 pregnant women, 52 mothers of babies, and 60 girls.

Mohammed Radwan, one of the villagers who fought the attackers, said: "There were no rapes. It's all lies. There were no pregnant women who were slit open. It was propaganda that ... Arabs put out so Arab armies would invade. They ended up expelling people from all of Palestine on the rumor of Deir Yassin."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deir_Yassin_massacre

It makes total sense to me why they would do that, but it's still no less sad.

Its the oldest trick in the book, deny education to the occupied population, its easier to control uneducated people.

Yes but answer me this. Why is it in (my favorite vacation destination) neighboring Jordan, books are extremely expensive. I noticed that they were even more than twice the cover price. Is this Israel's doing? I went to Jerusalem and at Steimatsky books, the same thing. Twice the cover price.

The whole region seems to be putting a high price on knowledge. I don't think you can claim this is just some Joo conspiracy. I guess it's because books are expensive and heavy to ship??

We should just start paying per kilo of knowledge.
