I want to start getting into shape, but I don't think my joints are healthy enough to take the strain? by ItsFishyin Fitness

[–]technobabbler 0 points1 point ago

I used to get pain in my knees until I got new shoes, I supinate pretty badly so I had to get a shoe that would help compensate. Look for a running store in your area. Don't just go to a big box store and look in the shoe dept. The person who helps you choose a pair should actually ask you to walk around the store and run a little so he/she can take a look at your stride and how your foot is impacting the ground. Call around and if you are fortunate enough to have a number of stores around you get a couple opinions before purchasing. Trust me it will make all the difference in the world.

Best running app for iPhone? by partyonmyblocin loseit

I lover runkeeper, but they need to add one feature and it will be the killer running app. They need the ability to pause the music/podcast/audiobook when the app is giving audio information.

They don't hold a candle to monoprice, I have used monoprice a bunch and have always been happy with them. I am all about trying to keep stuff in Canada but there is no comparable alternative.

He has already pointed me towards a site to buy chokes at, I just haven't picked them up yet. I will be hitting the wires for the phones, alarm and furnace.

You'll have to forgive my ignorance with the terminology, I have been trying to educate myself. He did mention that over the last week he hasn't been running over 25 watts. He knows I am trying to work with him as well to solve this. Thanks for the info about the antenna as well.

Any idea on how to test the ground? Also it's not affecting cellular but rather cordless land line phones.

I am in Ontario Canada. Before I rat on him to his community I will see if I can fix the issue with him. I know his call sign so it would be to easy.

I have had conversations with him and I am absolutely sure it's a ham radio set up. I think he was running 20m and 40m last night. I have a very loose understanding of amateur radio so forgive my ignorance. The antenna has two elements running in an upside down V. I have removed the pictures.

One quick addendum, I listen to my iphone when I am in bed and it is plugged into the wall. Last night I unplugged it from the wall and I stopped hearing him.
