Sure, then everyone who doesn't need that type of CMS or blogging platform has to make due. And whoever takes this advice stagnates as a developer and only makes tiny tweaks to free themes.

There's plenty of money to be made just coding themes for you clients that fit them and their needs. Coding is still very important.

Great start.

To be nit-picky:

  • lose the dot between your first and last name - I assumed you domain was broken up that way just because of it.

  • increase your line-height for easier reading

  • Make your font-size bigger for the copy

  • Give me some sort of visual cue that I have rolled over a link in your nav - even if it's a color change

  • Give the nav a little more space from the content (my personal preference from some breathing room)

Take what you will form that. I'm looking forward to seeing this progress.
