It really kills the enjoyment of reddit that the mods are given so much power.

reddit should change their policies that if a submission has enough upvotes to frontpage, it shouldn't be able to be removed anymore.

I'm thankful I have most of the submissions via RSS, but it pains me to see [removed] when I click through to manually upvote or comment. It's wrong. The system is flawed. I hope Yishan considers this something worth fixing.

Maybe you can start with what happened to cause that.

It seems from what I'm reading that you had a better life earlier on, and now you're in an irreversible state of poverty and you're distanced from everyone in your life, including your family.

Is that a fair assessment?

Related: I played shortstop during softball back when I was a camper in summer camp. A counselor was up at bat and hit the ball pretty hard ... right into my propped-open glove. I didn't have to move or do anything. She was immediately out and I hadn't initially even realized that it was me who caught the ball. She thought I performed a miracle, but I was just that lucky.
