went to a punk show that i thought was a folk show. i went for an opening band, hadn't heard of the headliner. there were a couple of douchebags in the pit who were brothers and almost certainly coordinated their clothing. loads of hair gel. fucking guidos at a punk show. they were punching anyone who got close to them, really messing some people up, but they weren't punching above the neck. i was quite drunk, and they had this "owning the pit" attitude so i was 'fighting' them both, plus a couple of guys who were at least 100lbs heavier as well. apparently i like to fight when i drink, but it was mostly in good fun. it's 16 hours later and im having trouble walking and i cant really make a fist and my arms are covered with bruises. im 100% not an aggressive alpha male but i feel like one, a lot.
