Actually....it was stolen twice. Once for two years and then again for about 16 hours. I named it "The Bloomerang" in honor of its multiple returns. I did not wreck when the tire blew thankfully. I was able to pull over, lock it up, and borrow a truck to get it home. Wheels coming off tonight and new tires in tomorrow!!

This is an '07 Vespa that was stolen from me and missing for over two years. I've tried my best to get it back in order while using it to commute to work but it's been a slow process. Other than some body work, the new tires were the last piece of the puzzle. I'm hoping I can get out of work in time tonight I get the wheels off and take them to the shop to be re-shoed.

I've thought about this all day and there's so much wrong with this article that I'm not sure which upsets me most....his complete lack of reference, his lack of any scientific citation, his lack of experience with the dogs, or the editor's choice to print something so CLEARY devoid of research. Meet some dogs, do some 'in the trenches' research (aka volunteer) for a week, and then tell me that ONE type of dog is to blame for what HUMANS HAVE CONDITIONED THEM TO DO....damnit...was I yelling again?

He circulated a number of stories about himself and his messiah like powers. Coupled with the Rastafarian belief that Ethiopia (or somewhere in Africa) was the location if the Garden of Eden and the historical home of the book of Genesis, his legend fit very well into their definition of the messiah. Marcus Garvey's influence certainly helped keep the focus on Africa as the place where the messiah would return. I started the documentary last night and I'm going to finish it this evening. I highly recommend Marley's biography "Catch a Fire" to help answer your question better. It goes into more detail about the rise of Rastafarianism than I could. ALSO: Ras Tafari actually means Prince Tafari in Ethiopian. Tafari was HS's given name as I understand it.
