This is about Rogers Wireless Retention Plans. Wireless companies do not want you to sign with a competitor. If you call in to cancel, you will be directed to the customer relations department so that they can negotiate into keeping you. It doesn't matter if you are still on a contract, after about three or six months of paying your bills on time Rogers will know that you are a customer worth keeping. It's not that easy to cancel. Don't worry about bluffing. You can always say that "you'll think about it" if the plan isn't something you're happy with and then hang up.

This 40/60 argument again. If I had a nickel for every time this argument was thrown around like a rag doll, I'd have a fuckton of nickels. Anyways, the breakdown would be more 20% for a left leaning party and 30% for a centrist party that really isn't any better than the conservatives. As much as I am not a fan of Harper, lumping the Liberals, NDP and Green Party each with different ideologies as some mega left-wing party is such a lame excuse, it frankly makes us look like even more sore losers.

Went to a frat party during orientation week in university (17 at the time), and have no prior drinking experience. Throw up twice, get thrown in a cab, and quickly become a prime example for other frosh on what not to do in a frat party all in the span of maybe 2 hours or so (some say much less). Parents end up paying a $65 cab fare, generating awkwardness the next morning.

My friends still joke about it from time to time.

There's actually a term for these people in Chinese, it's called "富二代" (2nd Gen rich kids), and it's apparently even worse in Vancouver, with stuff like this happening over there. In the meantime, I'm curious which part of the city you're finding these people, even the recent wave of Mainlanders in Scarborough (or at least my neighborhood) are way more humble than what you've described.

I am Chinese. I've been to China. I can confirm that we are TERRIBLE drivers. The difference is that they're all equally terrible over there, so it works out in some strange way. Of course, these skills don't transfer over in other countries.

Which subs are people watching for this? The only one I'm coming across for the 6th episode are from ShinBunBu-Hadena, but it seems the general consensus of them is "lolHadena" (looking at their website, I can see why).

Given where he lives, it's very possible. He goes northbound on the YUS (very little traffic that way), take the Sheppard line (which no one ever uses), and take the 190 to STC (Which are pretty efficient).
