First of all, HPV is not a lifelong disease. Secondly, most HPV cases are caught with pap tests and monitored waaaayyyy before they have a chance to become dysplasia, not even cancer.

Must-dos: Van Gogh Museum. Wander the red-light district at twilight. The sex museum (seriously, freaking HILAIROUS). Picnic in the big park which i can't remember the name of. A pannenkoek (big dutch pancake) at a little cafe.

Also, just take a wander during the evening around the city - it is gorgeous!

Go to Amsterdam!!! This has nothing to do with weed either...

I've travelled a fair bit in Europe, and Amsterdam (minus the red light district; thats an experience in itself) was by far one of the cleanest, most beautiful cities I visited. I wouldn't spend a huge amount of time there, but about 3 days minimum to get everything in. There's the Anne Frank house, several art museums, a huge beautiful park and the city itself is just great to wander around in.

Edit: Make sure of your hostel's address... my friend and I accidentally booked one in the red light district and it was sketchy as fuck.

This doesn't have any actual medical worth, but 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of honey in a mug filled with hot water feels wonderful. It soothes my throat enough for me to get a good nights sleep, which is obviously super important for not getting sick!

If you actually get sick (KNOCK ON WOOD!!), peppermint-ginger tea is magic on an upset stomach

This doesn't necessarily answer your question, but remember that much of the civilised world has easy access to the Pill, which would not allow for syncing because of the regular hormone doses.

I don't personally know of any study that shows large-scale cycle syncing, but you never know!

I cannot eat ice-cream cones. I end up with ice cream absolutely everywhere: my hands, chin, cheeks, nose, you name it. I usually end up almost dropping the ice cream and/or whole cone somehow too. That dinky napkin that gets wrapped around the cone? Not even close to enough. I need a freaking towel
