But I usually don't kill the bad guy, because that frankly doesn't take very long. The trick is to neutralize the enemy without risking too much of a lawsuit. I also play out many different scenarios - is the bad guy armed? With what? Does he have henchmen? Can I count on any of my peers to assist me? Is he someone we know? Do I just tackle him immediately before he has time to act? Or will there be a delay as we try to figure out if old George from the mail room went into the wrong conference room again, or if he's finally had enough? And finally, how will I deal with the celebrity aftermath of my heroic feats?

It was ok. It was definitely worth reading, if for no other reason than to see what the hype was about (I'll admit I read Twilight for the same reason, and that was... not so good).

Although there's not much in the plot that hasn't been done before, it's still interesting that there's a wildly popular YA novel that manages to work the dystopian angle, feature a rather unlikable (ok, flawed) main character, and still create a believable (within the framework) teen romance.
