Yesterday, my family became a foster family for an eight-year-old german shepherd/something else mix. The original owner was going to put her down because she's anxious (on doggy prozac), and had escaped through a screen door that morning.

According to her former landlady (they had moved, I guess) the dog was pretty much cooped up in the kitchen 24/7. I'm going to go out on a limb here and note that big dogs need walkies. And this particular hairy one also needs brushies.

But yeah. Her name's Lily, and does anyone want a doggie?
