How to interview like a boss by ZacChampin jobs

Very interesting article.

What's the best approach for applying for a job where you don't meet all the requirements? by LunacyNowin jobs

[–]redy2assist 0 points1 point ago

It is very rare that any one cadidate will meet all requirements. Focus on your strong points and assets. If you have 5 out of seven requirements, that is actually good. It does not mean that you are the best fit for the job or team though.

I just wrote an article on interview technique and how body language can help your candidacy. by gerardknightin jobs

That would be nice, but I believe some employers make candidates uneasy to see how they handle stress.

Interview asks for references. by ImRedditedin jobs

Just make it neat. Formatting is not important. Most of the times they will ask you to put down references on your job application. Employers rarely ask for a document with references.

Hope this helps.

8 Things Your Employees Need Most by redy2assistin jobs

For many years I asked the same thing. Some companies still give raises and bonuses (pensions too). I currently work for such a company. I love where I work (not just for the benefits).

@TheGoodDrStrawngarm - great points. I hear you loud and clear. I used to think that if I made enough money nothing else would matter. However, as I made more money I found that some of the other points in that article were more important to me, such as points # 1, 4, 5, 7 and 8. Don't get me wrong, benefits and salary are important parts as well, but I also want to be happy with my job.

puterTDI - A 30% raise? Wow, that is awesome. Most people only get 3% these days or none at all. You are my hero. :)

Interview went quickly. Not sure what to think. by Thokazin jobs

[–]redy2assist 0 points1 point ago

It is hard to tell. I have been on interviews that lasted 3 hours and did not get the job. I have been on interviews for 30 minutes and got the job. One never knows. Make sure you send thank you notes to all interviewers no matter what.

How pretty. I wish I could find one like that. I am looking for a Ragdoll Kitten with bright blue eyes. Anyone know of one that I can resue? I heard that they are hard to find unless you adopt from a breader for tons of money.

Need help getting a job. by needjobthrowawayin jobs

He should go to college Career Services. They assist students with job search or internship opportunities.

I feel his pain. When I got out of H.S. No one wanted to hire me because I had no experience. I finally said to an interviewer..."if you will not hire me, then how will I get experience?" They hired me. Strange, but true story.

Whatever he wants to do, tell him to read books, take training classes and show that he is interested in learning more. Something will come through soon.

Wondering what would be a good company type for an Information Systems major who wants to become a Systems Analyst. by Irratikin jobs

[–]redy2assist 0 points1 point ago

There are lots of good companies. You need to first figure out what industry you are interested in working as an IT/IS professional. There is an IT/IS department in all (most) industries (unless they outsourse).

Once you pick your industry (such as banking, medical etc.) then find target companies to see what type of IS jobs they have.

Best wishes.
