It's Reddit, most people here know and care little about Jewish culture and religion. For example, there are -many- sects in Judaism that have different beliefs similar to catholic Protestant or Shia Sunni. It was the mother to Islam and Christianity so it is similarly as complex and rich as these offspring religions.

Saying the US government is controlled by foreign powers is a cop out. Most Americans don't want to take responsibility for who they voted into power and the laws these people of power pushed into reality. The US government may be influenced by foreign powers but many of these powers have differing views that contradict each other.

In the end, I think it comes down to the fact that the general populace of America aren't educated enough and take the time to research candidates in order to choose a responsible representative. So, America ends up with a bunch of clever people of power who only care about themselves and close political allies who are equally disattached from the general populace.

It isn't just America who suffers from one of the major weak points of democracy. I was in the Israeli army, the government there also suffers from the same exact problems. Politicians around the world have figured out how to get democracy to work better for them by installing beneficial measures that are extremely shortsighted which have negative effects in the long term when they can no longer continue their seat in office.

Take a look at China, where I live. There is still a lot of basic corruption but the politicians put laws into effect that are beneficial to the common people. They aren't democratic, so as long as the government is in line with the people, they can control every aspect to the country faster and more efficiently. Life here is improving at a rate not seen in human history. People here are much happier as we go into the next decade of the 21st century.

The relocation is meant to help the living conditions of the people and also help govern individuals as some are hard for the government to track.

The actual issue is whether they should be free from such authority and legal construction requirements or not. That is, if you are educated instead of being overly emotional and having it influence your perspective.

Sometimes mobs backed with sources and blog posts can still be dangerous. See /r/conspiracy and how they feel towards Jews for example. They have sources, although mostly from shady sites, but their message is quite targeted and framed towards their agenda.

I could care less about a teacher having TESL :P It isn't required in my city and even in the big cities, if your school isn't a major franchise, they don't always need one for a visa. It depends on the situation like turk said.

Honestly, having one can't hurt but in some hot cities it won't even change your salary. Even a masters may only give you an extra $100 per month in some of the few hotspots experienced foreign teachers love to teach.

you can always pay $100 for a fake diploma mill masters or a fake "in class experience" TESL because it isn't worth $800+ for one and chinese parents and students dont know the difference

even the 2 yrs experience isnt necessary for some schools in certain cities and sometimes the agents or schools will lie on your behalf saying you have a certain experience even if you dont know they are saying such lies when applying for your zvisa :P

also, after some experience, you may want to get a uni job and then get part time gigs.. eventually you will have enough students to do private tutoring for serious cash.. I co-own two schools and I barely make more than when I private tutored, some months I make less.

Being non-white doesn't matter, it is incorrect stereotype now. If you are black, it is even better in schools that have many foreign teachers. Only the tiny schools with 1-3 foreign teachers prefer whites. After that, they try to diversify their staff. Even if you are asian, it is fine as long as you come from a major English speaking country (Not philippines for example, sorry boba lovers) with an accent that can at least be accepted in the classroom.

One major tip though, if you plan to stay in China teaching, come with as much money as you can. the salaries have literally stayed the same for 10 years while Chinese salaries have increased. Many foreigners want to live in China now but the English industry is HUGE. Eventually, supply will be more than demand and salaries may actually decrease. Having cash will allow you to have more flexibility to have other money making operations while you teach, after all, you live in a western country with hire salaries.

10 years is a long time and it doesn't mean they will actually close

by saying they will close them in 10 years makes a portion of the people happy and gives germany time to explore other options for a ten year or so buffer time

germany can always reneg on their promise as new ministers are elected and government changed

they will really explorer and attempt to develop such technologies but the main purpose of this is for political leverage and government relations with the populace

easy to say something now and change your mind later when memory of japan fades and sees that what happened there was only detrimental to the immediate environment.
