Those actually do burn your skin. Even these nice fuzzy "green" strippers have harsh chemicals in them. If you use the regular strippers correctly in an area with A LOT of ventilation (like taking your project outside), you will be fine. If the plan is to use a chemical stripper, make sure to know how to dispose of the waste properly.
