How about a story as well as answering questions. Tell us about your first love. How did you meet? What happened? If you're not still together, when you think back to it do you smile or cry?

Well you generally don't know your pregnant until 6-8 weeks in (at the very earliest). And then emigrating to a foreign country is going to take time, you need to sort out visas and somewhere to love, etc. it's a fucking nightmare. And then of course you have to remember that multiple pregnancies rarely go to term. Even twins hardly ever go to the full 9 months. To be honest I'm concerned it took 6 months for the babies to pop out - carrying 4 babies that long must have been terrible. But then I guess you don't know how long it took the postcard to arrive. Especially if it maybe wasn't sent by air mail. Transatlantic (im presuming the characters are American) shipping is notoriously inefficient.

Thank you for answering. These are the definitions of delusion/overvalued idea. I guess my point was about the fear of losing insight, I always imagine that's what would terrify me the most. Good luck to you. "delusion A false belief based on incorrect inference about external reality that is firmly sustained despite what almost everyone else believes and despite what constitutes incontrovertible and obvious proof or evidence to the contrary" "overvalued idea An unreasonable and sustained belief that is maintained with less than delusional intensity (i.e., the person is able to acknowledge the possibility that the belief may not be true). The belief is not one that is ordinarily accepted by other members of the person's culture or subculture" Source-http://www.abess.com/glossary.html#P

What you describe below with the rationalisation of your hallucinations would best be described as an overvalued idea rather than a delusion as you remain able to appreciate their potential falseness. Do you appreciate that without medication you very well may one day have another major episode that you quite simply won't be able to rationalise/control? How does the fear of that happening affect how you act on a day to day basis or even how you plan for the future? What would need to happen before you reconsidered your decision to remain unmedicated? A few questions I know. Thanks for doing this AMA

I'm not American and on the whole don't overly care what Americans choose to spend their tax dollars on, with the exception of when it's spent on illegal foreign wars. I do however have one question. The USA is the wealthiest country to have ever existed upon this planet. Yet over 50 million Americans have no medical insurance whatsoever. American high school graduates rank well below the average for developed countries when it comes to maths, literacy and science. 15% of americans don't even graduate high school. As an outsider looking in, it often appears like Americans are so determined to 'protect the rights of the unborn' they completely neglect their living population. How can a nation with such vast wealth allow its own populace to go without health and education?

Santorum to Puerto Rico: Speak English if you want statehood by slaterhearstin politics

Scotland. So I'm fortunate enough to be in one of the colonies that the UK allows to return members to the UK parliament. I am well aware of the many peoples around the world in a similar position, or often even less represented, than Puerto Rico. I was just very surprised to learn this today - and also quite surprised and disappointed in myself for not knowing it already.

The UK and Spain do have a number of similar situations, which are a relic of the days of empire. I guess I was just surprised that the USA, a nation which fought to gain its independence from empire and who never formally had an empire in the way European nations did, would have a similar situation. As a side note, the French interestingly enough brought their empire fully into the French nation. Their overseas territories, including French Polynesia, return members to the parliament and they can vote in French presidential elections. The French revolution was very much based upon the rights of equality and botherhood.

TIL: Puerto Rico is neither an independent country or a US state. Sorry if this makes me seem a bit dumb but as a European i guess I never thought about it before so never realised this situation exists. I looked it up on wiki and find it quite bizarre that a country tolerates a situation where it essentially governs itself but has a head of state elected in an election they can't participate in and has a governor and congress that can be unilaterally dissolved in Washington. Can I ask one thing though. Can puerto ricans travel, live and work in the USA without restriction or do they require visas, work permits, etc?
