Once upon a time in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma my cousin was driving to the closest gas station which was over 30 mins away. We saw a car broken down on the side of the road, late at night, in the middle of a HUGE thunderstorm. We picked the kid up and took him to his house and everything turned out better than expected.

Oh wait this was supposed to be scary...

I wish I had a picture.... A lady that goes to my gym trains seeing eye dogs. She has the dog follow her around and carry her water bottle. With all the noises and outside interactions, it amazes me that these dogs can be so obedient.

Some kids in my high school skipped class and shot themselves up with horse tranquilizers. The both ended up stripping down, running into school naked and then passing out. They both were expelled.

I don't understand who would ever think its a good idea to do that!

Ok I have a story too.

My Uncle (dads side) molested me. We all went out around Christmas to a bar and he was being really weird and trying to dance with me a lot. My boyfriend at the time (fiance now) met us and I was going to go home with him.

My Uncle threw a fit and was yelling in the streets that I don't know this man, and I can't go home with him.

OK FINE. I wanted him to stop screaming in the streets of DC so I went home with the family.

I went to my room and got into bed. (His two daughters were sleeping on the floor in my bedroom.) A couple minutes later he comes into my room and lays down in bed with me. Then he put his hands down my pants and started touching me.

I had NO idea what to do, and I didn't want to wake up his middle school aged children by causing a scene. This lasted longer then I should have let it, but I was scared... my WHOLE family was here from out of town and if I started a scene it would have gotten ugly fast. I tried to push him away but that didn't really work.

My Dad walked into my room and said "what are you doing in here Pokemongo? You are supposed to be sleeping on the floor in our room."

That is when I left the room and went to bed on the floor next to my sister, and I cried and told her what happened.

The next day I avoided all contact from everyone and stayed in my room until family went home.

I then told my parents what happened.

My Dad said : You are a liar. (it was his brother that did this to me.) EVEN THOUGH HE SAW HIM IN BED WITH ME AND UP AGAINST ME.

My Mom said: Sometimes things happen when people are drunk.

I have not mentioned it since. My parents just did not seem to care, or won't believe it. I feel terrible because when his kids were... well little (maybe 5?) One of them said while playing with me and my cousin "Sometimes Daddy touches me funny." When we asked further she just went along with her playing. Mind you this was 8 years before it happened to me, and my cousin and I were just kids at the time as well, and didn't understand. Now I do.

Worst part is I have been trying to avoid all family functions again since this happened, and my parents have said I am selfish. My mom has said "you can't avoid it forever."

OH and my Dad won't pay for my Wedding unless I invite him.

So I feel your pain, just in a different way. What do I do? I have no idea.

Sorry long post, I have not mentioned this to anyone else since it happened and it still hurts.

My best friend when I was a kid was Indian. One day while we were eating lunch I asked "Mom, why is she black?"

My mom answered "she is not black, she is Indian."

I proceeded to throw a fit insisting that she was black, because she did not look like Pocahontas.

I still feel bad to this day about that...

I also feel bad when me and my twin sister always made her play Scary Spice when we pretended that we were Spice Girls.

Haha I did the same thing but it was a monkey. The teacher actually called my parents and told them she thought I was handicapped because I could not "listen to and follow directions." She never said you have to color in the lines though...

When I was a dancer, they encouraged us to go to auditions for Companies for the experience. However they did also tell us to let the Company know ahead of time, and just participate in the group auditions.

Some of them understood and let us do it, some didn't. We never wasted their time without asking them. This also gave us the opportunity to get our faces out in the industry per say.

Plus it was not a one to one interview it was a group audition...

It takes practice to be a good interviewer, especially with a shy person. You can stage interviews with friends and such though. I am sorry they were so disrespectful to you.

I choked on a piece of steak, they gave me the Heimlich, and they had to call 911. The also called my parents to inform them of this. Our parents met the first time while I was puking up hunks of steak and red wine waiting for the ambulance.

Pretty awkward.
