I don't understand. Apart from the fact that it is clear that male birth control is more difficult and has a potential for greater risk (based not only on what we do know about it, but also on what we don't) the argument being made here still doesn't make sense. No one is forcing women to take birth control pills. You DO NOT have to take them. What you are saying is, because you are putting your own health at risk by taking daily medication, then men should have to as well? You make the choice as to whether or not you want to take birth control, and leave others to make their own choices.

People who propose like this deserve to be told no. On the surface it appears like a nice gesture, but you are actually being a massive dick by putting her in a position that is awkward, uncomfortable, embarrassing and public. As if she would possibly say no to this, she would be too embarrassed.

Plus the fact that you videotaped the whole thing to put on the internet shows how selfish you are. This is now all about you, and your grand gesture. You have taken all the meaning and the love out of it and made your proposal a circus side-show.

I have lived in Germany for years and never once saw anyone eat a burger with a knife and fork. I ate a shitload of burgers in Germany, and they are very popular, not once did I see this. Burgers there were fine.
