The part where the customer is giving the seller the money. The second half is the seller giving the customer the product.

Homeschooled guys/gals of Reddit: Could you describe and rate your experience? And do you feel like you transitioned well into "public" life, or do you feel like it held you back, and why? by Sm3agololin AskReddit

It makes me a little sad that he will probably never appreciate the work of Sagan, Euler, Newton or others

I agree, because I love those guys, but this has nothing to do with public school vs home school.

Cops just told my brother he's going to be tried as an adult in a felony case. How fishy is this? by bffooddemonsin AskReddit

[–]nicholaides 0 points1 point ago

Also, do not talk to the cops without a lawyer. It is their job to prosecute, not to find out the truth (that's the court's job, ostensibly). Talking to them can only hurt you. You can be crucified for what you say, but not for being silent.

Edit: I accidentally a word

In high school I accidentally broke a window while swatting bee. I apologized and offerred to pay for it because I knew it was my fault. That wasn't enough for the principle-- he ordered me to do 25 hours of community service in addition to paying for it (the material and labor).

I was already involved in tons of community service so I just ignored it and never heard about it again.

This is the same principle who withheld my diploma because he accused me of some serious stuff based on 0 evidence and a hunch (and yes, I was innocent).

My vote: we all dream of the world ending on Dec 21 (or 25?) 2012. Everybody makes up their own story. The only shared thread is that the world ends in December.
