Virginia Tech went to the finals last year and lost. We all knew about the competition and a lot of people voted. Yea the guy that posted that is an ass but why does everybody assume we cheated. I have seen a lot of Rutgers people talking crap about VT as well.

I was just joking but you are the first person I've heard that likes to watch the triple option. Personally i cannot stand it but I think that has to do with Virginia Tech not being able to stop it that well.

As a Virginia Tech student, I would love to go to the SEC. NC State would be much more willing to leave the ACC than UNC. UNC wouldn't leave ACC academics and basketball. But as a Hokie I would much rather be in the SEC. Virginia Tech brings a good football program. I know we would struggle at the start, but once we start getting SEC recruits we would be much better. VT brings pretty good academics as well. No we are not a UVA, Duke, or UNC but we do have the 13th best engineering school in the country. Basketball is not a big plus, but we did just get the 12th ish best recruiting class last year. I cannot really think of a negative to bringing in Virginia Tech to the SEC for the SEC. They bring in a new market in the DC area and would be capable to compete in the SEC east. I think it would be better to bring a NC team rather than Oklahoma since the SEC just added two western teams.

With what Beamer has said about Michael Holmes, I would say he starts. I think Drew Harris redshirts and JC Coleman gets a lot of playing time. Coleman is a 4 star on rivals and has big play ability. Harris is coming off a injury that will take time to recover. Coleman is a small fast back that has the potential to contribute his freshman year.

I was extremely proud of Myer. I don't know if our 1st string kicker goes 4 of 5 in that game. I question some of the play calling, mainly the fake punt in the 4th quarter. If you want to go for it, let the offense do it.
