I won a huge trophy in the pinewood derby. it was third place of all of them, and i was really proud (i had help cutting it, but i came up with the design and weight placement myself, so that was justified). The next year, they stopped giving out huge trophies because it made other kids feel bad. so, it was just in the nick of time as well.
