Welding and getting a job by MadModderXin techtheatre

[–]mothawuzzahamsta 0 points1 point ago

That's what the TD in my school's shop suggests to us since there are few projects that require a lot of welding. Apparently there's also some weekend crash courses you can take as an alternative.

So, this came in the mail the other day. Talk about a major honor. by thejesusfingerin comicbooks

The Yellow Shark is pretty great -- it's all instrumental full orchestra compositions by the one and only.

You sure his mom didn't write that?

How would I format this? I want to have a scene of a character inside a house, intercut with short shots of the police cruising toward the house. by TheBioOrangein Screenwriting

[–]mothawuzzahamsta 2 points3 points ago

I think you'd want to do an intercut, but instead of dialogue you'd be describing the action of your character and the police cruisers.

Take them to small-claims court! In fact, all us comcast customers should. Apparently, it's pretty easy. http://consumerist.com/2008/01/suing-big-companies-in-small-claims-court-is-fun-and-easy.html

That's too bad about the support getting nixed. Still, probably better than here in the states. As far as I know, at least in SF, you can only get private grants for a theatre co.

As long as everyone starts pronouncing it with that lofty thespian accent (thee-ah-tuh) I'll be okay :P

I'll be sure to look into the permit, had a feeling there'd be limitations. Also, glad to hear about the film industry being accessible. That's ultimately what I want to end up doing, particularly on the "independent" side of things.

Sounds vibrant. Do many of them put up original works?
