According to urban dictionary, either "numerical representation of the word BOOBS", or "zip code for Springfield (the city from "The Simpsons)".

Yes, it's a nice looking bike. I would like to test one to see how it feels.

  1. Why did you want that particular bike?
  2. How is it to drive? It looks pretty big and clumsy for someone like me who is used to a fairly small bike.

Is Firefox multithreaded? I often wonder this because I never see FF use more than one core, even when under heavy load.

When ever I realize I left my keys in my bike. by The_Irish_Onein motorcycles

Better than me: I once rode to the beach and it was cold as hell. Decided to take a short walk on the beach, so I took the key with me. But I didn't want to take off my gloves to put the key into my pocket, so I kept the key in my hand. Fast forward and I'm back at my bike. Now, where did I put that key...? Since I didn't feel the key through my gloves I had forgot about it and dropped it somewhere in the sand... Luckily I managed to trace my footsteps and find the key. Boy did I feel stupid...

Typically how deep does the foundation of a skyscraper, or any tall building, go in relation to it's height? by nickfromredcliffin askscience

[–]mmx64 4 points5 points ago

Yes, I know they sway. But what I'm thinking about is how they can withstand the wind forces. Analogy: If you hold a 1 m stick by the end with your hand (foundation), and I poke the free end (wind), I wouldn't need much force to break your hold.

Great answer! I have a related question that I have often wondered: How can skyscrapers withstands strong winds and not fall over, considering that the lever effect ought to be pretty large considering their heights?
