No. Just one. You're probably refering to the hacker crumb-snatchers, though. I could swear I recognize a familiar syntax/style...save yourself the price of a stamp and just slide the letter under my door, because Reddit isn't all that reliable.

As for the films, they've been projecting them and I've been watching them since I was a small child and contrary to their intentions the films haven't had the desired effect. Know what I mean?

Was it a do-it-yourself display or did you have some professionals put on a show? One hundred dollars for the whole thing definitely sounds do-it-yourself. I know in Massachusetts it's illegal to even have sparklers and it seems likely that professionals must be licensed to have fireworks and create a fireworks display. Fireworks are illegal here at least in part because every so often people lose fingers or worse lighting them.

Yes, the keyboard is very comfortable. You put it into words exactly.

It's also quality and not quantity where friends are concerned. It's likely you have special skills you can develop that will compensate for not being comfortable in groups of people. Whatever they might be- writing talent, musical ability, or whatever else, that's what you should focus on because that has more value than anything.

I deal with this, but it's not because I feel intimidated. I'm an introvert, and part of being that way for me is having sensory overload when I'm with more than one other person or often with only one other. Having spent so much of my time alone has left me without sufficient practice to be able to spontaneously understand not only the verbal content of conversation (pretty easy) but to grasp the subtleties of communication that others understand quite naturally. There's an internal part of my mind that's constantly trying to objectively analyze what others REALLY mean when they speak and that creates a lot of distraction and background noise. It also screws up comprehension when new words are spoken and I'm still pondering what's already been said. I just don't get how "normal" people communicate. So I isolate and do a lot of writing via a keyboard as my favorite way of talking to others. Does this sound familiar to you? If you're a young person and you feel awkward in groups of people, chances are as you get older you'll feel more comfortable as you get more practice dealing with being in a group. Somewhere along the way you'll stop caring how others judge you if that's part your discomfort. You're as worthy as anyone else on this planet and if anyone gives you a hard time, you need to remind yourself of that. If you're basically an introvert, though, you should avoid large groups of people because that'll only frazzle you.

Go ahead and get an air conditioner with the highest BTU rating you can afford. Then when you install it, if the windows are really loose in their casements make sure both the window the AC is located and all other windows are well sealed with something like this. If you want to have the option of being able to open at least one other window, you might try a felt strip kind of window seal that would allow that.

Are you directly under the roof or on the top floor? Do you own or rent? If it's your own place, you might try to find out the cheapest way to insulate the attic if that's part of the problem. When you're in an older building with inadequate insulation and your living space is under an attic above which is a black asphalt roof, it's really necessary to have adequate insulation.

I lived in that kind of environment as a renter and found that putting curtains up that covered the lower half of the windows made it OK to walk around half naked and more or less live that way in the summer.

The woman is getting free cleaning of a disasterous and potentially lethal mess and yet gets pissed off when told a basket her mother made really ought to be trashed due to cockroach infestation. She then plays the pity card: "Sure, my mother can come back from the grave and make another one." And she then gets pissed off and paranoid claiming that she's being accused of taking lousy care of her children. Well, yes, you are taking lousy care of your children. I'm usually very empathetic/sympathetic, but what is her excuse for letting things get as bad as they did?

You're welcome. I use the peroxide and vinegar method in the communal clothes dryers I have to use, though I still use chlorine bleach in any laundry that won't be ruined by it. For colors I use oxygen bleach powder and tea tree oil in the washing machines, though I'd like to know whether the tea tree oil is as efficient or better than grapefruit seed extract.

There are safer alternatives that also won't leave a bleach smell in the refrigerator.

1) get two spray bottles & fill one with white vinegar and the other with hydrogen peroxide that you can buy at places like CVS.

2) spray the surfaces of the refrigerator first with either the peroxide or the vinegar. It doesn' matter which.

3) Spray the wet surfaces with the other.

4) Let it sit for a few minutes and wipe dry. I'd do it a few times.

5) Don't mix the two in one bottle.

Vinegar will also deodorize.

There's plenty of information about the efficacy of this method online. Also look for information about grapefruit seed extract and how it's used as a disinfectant.
