What I was thinking of is several drawings of the desk from different angles that specify the dimensions of its parts. These could be elevations, and they wouldn't need to be so precisely drawn as those seen in the link so long as the measurements are correctly noted on the drawing.

It's a pain to draw the drawers but in the end it's best to have working drawings correctly scaled to use as a guide while constructing the desk. You definitely need a bigger desk.

There were four of us stoned dirty hippies at a table in The Egg & I in Hyannis Cape Cod. It was about 1:00 AM and we'd been getting high all night. While Dave was eating his eggs, a HUGE spread-eagled male mosquito was revealed sealed right into the styrofoam plate. Right smack in the center. That waitress must have given the word to the chef and we were just the people they'd been saving that plate for.

Tasted differ. I want those eggs cooked so there's no runny parts. I like to pour eggs and milk that have been shaken in a jar with salt and black pepper into a hot buttered frying pan. Then after the eggs cook a bit add some cheese on top. Then the pan can be slid into the oven under the broiler to make sure the eggs are cooked solid- even browned a little bit and the cheese melts. It's easy to loosen the eggs with a spatula and fold it in half even if they break, and then flip them onto a plate. Now I want that and there aren't any eggs in the refrigerator.

There are some problems with the composition of your design. First, you can use the design elements like the rectangular boxes that you've chosen, but look a page of justified type with a heading at the top. You can see if the heading is centered above a nicely justified column of type, it looks more harmonious and balanced to the eye. If you don't know the terms justify, flush right, flush left, and centered as they relate to type, you can see this which shows a column of justified type on the left page, and a column of flush left type on the right. And here is an example of flush right and centered.

Your web pages would look better if the columns of type were justified and if you centered the rectangular elements related to the type.

Your spiral logo is drifting too far to the left hand upper corner, and it would be really effective if you redesigned the heading on the first page with the logo somehow incorporated into the heading design. That logo could be an exiting color rather that drab gray, too. In fact, you could probably redesign the website using more harmonious colors. It's just a guess, but you may have chosen the yellow because it catches the viewer's eye, but it's not really necessary. What would work better is to play around with different colors and come up with a combination of colors that are beautiful. That will capture the viewer's attention much more effectively. You can experiment with all kinds of color combinations and note the round button options; mono, complement, triad, etc.

If you call having religious faith ignorance, then I suppose you're right however sincere that faith may be. If those kids really believe in the power of that prayer, then they're not merely conforming with popular opinion, though I don't think it's really part of the argument to challenge the faith of those kids and to debate whether or not religious faith is mere fantasy or has basis in some part of reality. It's also not relevant that the reaction to what she did is not in tune with what Christians should do.

If someday, Ms. Alquist's resume and an opponent classmate's resume end up on an employers desk, knowing what happened in their high school history only looks bad for the loser doesn't it?

That depends entirely upon where she sends her resume. If she stays in predominantly Catholic Rhode Island, it's fairly certain she can expect problems. It's not an exaggeration to say that most of the people in the state of Rhode Island know who this girl is and will recognize both her name and face. Even if that weren't so (here we go into the realm of what you might call paranoia), all you have to do is piss off the wrong people in this world, and they can cause difficulties for you. I believe Ms. Ahlquist may have pissed off the wrong people.

It's commendable that you've taught your kids to think independently. I hope they'll do that without having others attack them the way Ms. Ahlquist has been. It might be a good idea to teach them to choose their battles carefully, because there may be very unpleasant consequences. This is not meant to be anything other than a sincere warning that sometimes it just isn't worth sticking your neck out.
