Download ABR, backup your OEM SLP key and certificate and install Windows Vista without a key. Once you have installed Windows, restore with ABR's activation_restore.exe.

Don't listen to anyone, OP. The part you're looking for is a jack connected to a cable that can be removed without soldering.

If you can remove all of the screws and expose the motherboard, you will be able to disconnect the cable and replace it with a $3 replacement from ebay. Search ebay for Toshiba A105 DC jack and sort by cheapest to most expensive. If you are willing to wait 2 weeks, get one from HK.
