The downside for corporations in office is pretty simple. If a senator owns a company, he can't, as a senator, contract out work to his own company. There are a lot of ethics laws in place for this. It's a big deal in cities and small towns, too. So there really is no financial gain for a company to be in office.

Sometimes reddit's admins will award people for creative, unique ways of answering a question. The current awards system can be exploited by posting comments similar, but not exactly like, those that have previously won awards.

Agreed. I would be willing to spend a couple of weeks there building or cleaning up. I've done it before, after Hurricane Felix, and I thought it was a great experience (and the people really appreciated us!)

I lean more towards walnut. You get the same darker shades, however it is significantly stronger and is native to more regions of the United States and Europe than it's more tropical counterpart.
