To some of the people commenting, how is this pseudoscience? More anti-inflammatory proteins were found in a massaged leg than a non-massaged leg...sounds like a good controlled experiment to me. It's also one of the first scientific studies done on this subject, so it's hardly the last word (and may be shown to be false), but it's important to do this type of research to eliminate false beliefs about things like massage or chiropractic and to determine whether they are beneficial or not (since their worth can sometimes be inflated in some people's eyes).
