Do you see why this is such a shitty report now? de Vendômois and his team intentionally didn't limit the variables so they could conflate any problems with consuming herbicide with consuming GMO corn. They could have easily tested solely for unintended metabolic effects, but chose not to.

Also, I'm not going to trust information from a site that blames autism on GMO crops. Find a better source.

I read the journal article and quoted the parts that detail the addition of herbicide to the corn here.

Introduction

One corn (NK 603) has been genetically engineered to tolerate the broad spectrum herbicide Roundup and thus contains residues of this formulation. The two other types of GM maize studied produce two different new insecticides namely modified versions of Cry1Ab (MON 810) and Cry3Bb1 (MON 863) Bacillus thuringiensis-derived proteins. Therefore, all these three GM maize contain novel pesticide residues that will be present in food and feed.

Your response is exactly why I called that report a hit piece. You didn't read the details, you just read the headline and assumed that its the GMO corn itself causing the damage.

Try to keep up. The study this case cites tested GMO corn with herbicide (RoundUp) on it. The GMO corn itself was harmless, but the herbicide caused some kidney and liver damage. Since RoundUp is water soluble and these crops are washed or irrigated multiple times, there's no risk to people consuming this corn.

I completely agree. Which is why I am against Ron Paul supporters packing state conventions in attempts to undo or otherwise manipulate the 70% of the total GOP delegates that are bound and pledged directly through the primary or caucus vote, which Romney has overwhelmingly won.

3/4ths of the total GOP delegates are super delegates flocking to Romney or bound and pledged directly through the primary or caucus vote, which Romney has overwhelmingly won, and which Paul supporters shouldn't be able to manipulate. The Paul campaign is hoping to ignore the state GOP rules about bound and pledged delegates by packing state conventions with Paul supporters then invoking Rule 38 to unbind them and vote for Paul. Now you won't see this as "breaking the rules", but to any neutral observer, it's pretty clearly ignoring the rules to try to impose a deeply unpopular candidate on the GOP.

Funny thing though? Rule 38 doesn't work the way you guys think it works.

UNIT RULE: A rule of procedure at a national politcal convention under which a state's entire vote must be cast for the candidate preferred by a majority of the state's delegates.

There's no attempt at binding every single state delegate to a single candidate, so Rule 38 doesn't magically unbind every delegate.

TL/DR: Most delegates are bound and pledged under the rules, Paul supporters are trying to break/get around those rules.

Results for Massachusetts primary: Romney 72%, Santorum 12%, Paul 9.5%, Gingrich 4.6%.

Delegate Allocation: Of the 41 delegates, 27 are allocated proportionally by Congressional district to candidates receiving a minimum of 15 percent of the statewide vote. Eleven at-large delegates awarded proportionally based on statewide vote to candidates receiving a minimum of 15 percent of the vote. Three Republican National Committee members are unbound.

The only person with standing for delegates in Massachusetts is Mitt Romney. No amount of provisional ballots will change this.

Don't try to mask what really happened. Paul supporters packed the convention and forced their way into delegate positions they didn't earn. There was no great surge of support for the guy who received less that 10% of Oklahoma's votes and less than a third of any other candidate. The people of Oklahoma very clearly do not approve of Paul.

Oklahoma primary results: Santorum 33.8%, Romney 28%, Gingrich 27.5%, Paul 9.6%.

Delegate Allocation: Of the 43 delegates, 40 of them – 15 by Congressional district and 25 at-large — are bound and allocated proportionally to candidates receiving a minimum of 15 percent of the vote. Delegates --- at large and by Congressional district -- are winner-take-all if a candidate receives more than 50 percent of the vote. Three R.N.C. members are unbound.

Paul wasn't popular enough make the 15% cutoff, and didn't qualify for delegates. Simple as that. I don't know what this lawsuit seeks to accomplish.
