I was doing a crossword on my phone the other day and got the clue "South Australian capital (8)." I only knew the answer because of how excited Adelaide redditors get about their city, and it now has the high honor of being the third city in Australia I can name (Sydney and Melbourne being the other two).

I only noticed recently the apparent outrage over "cunt" on reddit. People always say "Australia blah blah blah," but I'm from the US and use it all the time, in the same way I'd use "fuck." It's practically become one of my girl friend's nicknames. It's her favorite word.

I can't find the numbers right now, but I think they would have to buy Google Enterprise Search, and the pricing for Google services is usually based on traffic. With over one billion page views a month now, I can't imagine it would be cheap.

I hate the health law as it is. Cut it down and get a new one with real universal coverage. I have insurance through my employer and I still had to pay $70 for an uncovered part of my yearly eye exam -- a part which I've gotten every time, and was always covered by previous plans. I pay $170 a month for an uncovered medication, though that's because it's not FDA approved (even though it's approved in every other country: Motilium).

Yes, the current law helps cover people who are far worse off than I am, and that's awesome. But health costs are out of control, and forcing people to buy coverage from these useless companies just seems like a polite kick in the balls. Raise taxes an extra X% on something so I can stop paying $100 per paycheck and know that whatever I need medically, I can have, without question.
