I'm so sick of this fake angry-macho style of writing where fuck is used as punctuation everywhere (to the detriment of actual grammar, certainly in the case of this article... ugh it's so badly written it hurts). It just screams attention whore, highlighting the fact that the substance of the article is unable to make any impact at all so needs to use lumbering foul language to try and heavy-handedly force a reaction when it deserves none.

If this article is genuine, the writer should stop writing immediately. It's terribly written, full of contradiction, with all the structural logic of a drunkard's diatribe.

If it's satire, it's one of the most ineffective and boring pieces of satire I've come across in my lifetime.

This article got no love because it is not, in fact, a great read. It is, in fact, a terrible one.

Charlton play in red. Neither are great examples though. Better ones are Tottenham (white), Everton (blue) and Aston Villa (same colours as West Ham). Overall each of these teams has won more trophies than Chelsea.

It's not enough for the average person to experience real joy, real passion, real love, real adventure, real excitement....everyone has to stop what's going on around them, take photos, take the time to upload them to 4 or 5 different online destinations and they sit back like fishermen and wait for the attention to roll in so that need can be fed.

When I go to clubs these days I see people spending more time taking photos than actually dancing. It's extraordinary.

I get all that, and it kind of underlines the point I was trying to make further down the page. You may get some useful replies but you're also at risk of the thread collapsing to trolls or people who will otherwise be counterproductive to your cause.

The fact that you've spent considerably more time and energy replying to the negative comments than the positive ones is a classic enactment of what I was trying to warn you against.

Don't you see the potential of this backfiring hideously? This thread could get overrun with trolls saying she's ugly, and then you've actually made her situation worse.

Just work on simplifying it. There's just too much stuff crammed in with no obvious cohesion or planning, and a lot of stuff that's unnecessary. Perhaps it'll help you if I give more specific points, so let me describe my navigation of your site and the specific things I noticed while doing so.

1) On the homepage. Where's the site logo? All I see is big advertising banner with Wayne Rooney's face and a darkened picture of Cristiano Ronaldo a bit further down. There's some small text links at the top of the page saying "Cristiano Ronaldo - CR7 fan site", but those look like Google Ad links. Certainly way too small to be a site logo/header. Let's see what content there is here. Okay, there seems to be some kind of stats about Cristiano Ronaldo on the left hand side. Let's scroll down... hmm, a bunch of spammy-looking text and links about online betting, live sports streams, some Google ads and then... wait, a Facebook comment stream? This is strange. So far it's looking like one of those fake spam pages using Cristiano Ronaldo as bait to get people to click on ad links. Where's the navigation menu?

2) Let's hover over the picture of Cristiano. Oh wait, something's happening. Ah... so this is the navigation? Well that's not very helpful as I have to hover over his body parts before I even know what to click on. Oh hang on... I've just seen the tiny navigation menu on the right. Good thing I stayed on the site for a full 15 seconds to notice that, and didn't just leave because it looked like a spam site!

3) Still on the homepage, let's click on some things, starting at top left as this is where all web users' eyes tend to start navigating a page. First, I see there are 213 users online. Cool, let's click on that number and see a list of them. Perhaps I can meet some Cristiano fans. Oh... it just takes me to a site trying to sell me a stat counter. What about the sitemap? Wow, that's just a massive long list of links. I don't want to trawl through all that. Not helpful at all. And what does "Skip" do? What am I skipping? It takes me to the news page... I don't understand the logic of this. Okay, let's look in the stats section. There's a link here: Cristiano Ronaldo is bold and clickable. Oh, it just takes me back to this same page. What a pointless link. Real Madrid is also in bold, so it must be clickable too. Oh, that's not a link. How confusing. Nothing else is bold so nothing else must be clickable... oh wait, I accidentally hovered my mouse over "Cristiano Ronaldo Jr". It's a link! I would never have known that unless I accidentally hovered over it. And it actually takes me to a page about his son. The first logical and useful link I've found so far! Next... oh cool, I can select my language. Let's choose French... huh? Why am I taken to the News page? So I can't change my language? What's the point of that thing on the front page then?

4) Well, since the site seems so desperate to send me to the news page, I might as well look around. Oh look, the navigation menu has jumped over to the left now. That makes more sense, so why wasn't it there on the homepage? We seem to have some kind of site header now too, with two pics of Cristiano on either side of the words "www.ronaldo7.net". So presumably that will take me back to the homepage if I click, let's hover over and see... okay that's weird, the Cristianos swap around but I can't click on it. What's the point of that? Nevermind, let's look at the rest of the page. I've already come to the conclusion that this is a very spammy site, so I'm going to ignore everything in the sidebars as they are probably all banner ads. Let's click on one of the news stories...

5) Finally, some real content! An article about Raul Albiol discussing Ronaldo's talent. The standard of English is bad, but I've seen worse. There's a bunch of pictures of Albiol underneath and a Facebook comment stream at the very end. So now I'm seeing the value in the site, but it took me a while to get here!

6) Let's see what else is on the site. I click "Biography" and get a nice detailed biography of Ronaldo. Good stuff. What's all the stuff at the top of the page about Languages though? I thought we already established that languages don't work on this site. And where's the page title? On the News page it had a title saying "News" at the top of the page. There isn't one here. A bit confusing.

7) Let's click on "Girlfriends". Cristiano has been out with some really hot ladies so this section should be worth looking at! Wait... why is there a picture of an iPhone? Never mind, let's click on one of the girls' names on the left of the phone. Page reloads... and the same picture of that iPhone. Huh? Oh, if I scroll past it there are some thumbnails... ah I see what the iPhone is for. Hm, not a very useful gimmick. Why don't you just put the thumbnails at the top and let us click on them? The iPhone thing is very confusing and loads images into a very small screen... not good for the user experience.

8) By this point I'm a little bored of trying to work out how the site works each time I load a page. I'm also wondering what is the point of the Wibiya bar at the bottom of the page. I try and click on one of the options in the poll asking who will win the La Liga title this year, but some kind of bug won't let me click on any of the checkboxes. So I leave.

Conclusion: you have a lot of fans and a strong Google PageRank already, so you could really make this site big if it was easier to use for first-time visitors. If you've made any money out of all the advertising on the site, I would seriously suggest investing some of that in a new site design to make it more consistent and easier to nagivate... as well as more professional looking. Take advantage of what you have and take it to the next level.

Because it's so totally confusing and messy. There's no consistency between page designs so every time you load a page you spend a few seconds trying to work out what's going on. There is no clear demarcation between ads and content blocks which is extremely confusing, and worst of all you've got one of those auto-popup movie trailers when you first visit the site.

And it looks like it was designed in 1997.

There's some great info on there but the site is in desperate need of a redesign.
