What an awesome bike! If I had $20k for a second bike, this would be it.

You're welcome. Hope you enjoy it. Moab is fun.

All the best on the trip. If it were me, make sure you fill up in Grand Junction or Fruita which is just a little west of GJ. There is a Wendy's there too if you get hungry. The back way into Moab off of 70 is well worth it. Watch out for cows. Here is the exit coords. 39.037353,-109.283452 Take it to 128 then it goes right into Moab.

Don't forget to check out Grand View. There are nice twisties getting there and the view is awesome. 38.311381,-109.856195

Also... The KOA in Moab (last time I was there was 2008) is pretty good. It's a little outside of the town but not too far. If you have trouble finding a motel over the holiday weekend there might be a Kabin available.

Is that the same keyboard dock the TF201 uses? I hope so.

Bear Creek Park is my favorite paved trail ride. I'm about to pull the trigger on a Scott Team 29er (time to retire my old '98 Y11). It's nice to see CO Trails near home.

I'm trying to decide whether or not to get the HSPA+ version or wait for LTE. I have a iPhone 4 at the moment and am fine with the download speeds. My issue is I am currently with AT&T and my contract ends in July. My understanding is if I get the HSPA version I should be able to use the phone on either AT&T or Tmobile in the states. Is that true? I'm seriously considering doing the Tmobile pay-as-you-go but have not decided completely yet. The last thing I want to do is lock myself into AT&T for another two years. If I wait for LTE, won't that lock me in to only AT&T?

18,000km around China- longest ride around a single country, with Long Way Round style documentary coming out this year. by bukco13in motorcycles

This year? I hope so. Been wanting to see this for a long time now. Ryan and Colin have a hit here if they can only get it out to viewers. Will it be better than LWR? I have high hopes that it will.

Who has been updated to Google Drive? How do you like it? by Thinksgeekin Android

[–]lensgrabber 1 point2 points ago

I tried it and really didn't care much for it. I'm a Dropbox whore though and have 10gb of free space so Gdrive at 5gig isn't all that appealing. I also have a Pogoplug loaded up at home so even though I applaud Google's efforts, I'm just not going to be using that service the way others might.

Google back in the smartphone sales game: unlocked Galaxy Nexus HSPA+ (GSM) available for $399 -- Engadget by sri745in Android

Thanks! Looks like TAKJU might be a better choice if one hasn't already purchased the phone. I'll decide what to do after 5/3 :)

People on Expansys are saying it has the YAKJU build. Not sure what the Play Store version has but apparently YAKJU gets quicker updates. Others might know if YAKJU is worth it or not. If you do know, please explain for those of us that don't have a clue. Cheers

Well done! I got my feet wet with the transformer prime. Now I can't wait for the SGIII to hit the market so I can finally move off IOS.

Excellent shot! How do you like the Kriega? I'm thinking about picking up a R30 tomorrow. I've got a crapload of their other bags (US10,20,KS40) but never had a chance to try a backpack.

What is the your primary reason for wearing helmet cams? by dubyaohohdeein motorcycles

[–]lensgrabber 0 points1 point ago

Just a sticky or some other attachment to your helmet that the camera can mount to. Contour and GoPro have 3M sticky tape to their plastic mounts that the camera just slides into or screws in.

2002 ZX6E (sold in 2010) was my first bike and that's why I recommended it. Plenty of power (for me at least) but also very forgiving with newbie mistakes. The bike was extremely solid and did great except for above 12,000 feet.

I certainly hope this thing will work with the keyboard dock. My dock is attached 100% of the time. I bet it won't. guess we'll know in a couple of weeks.

[–]lensgrabber 1 point2 points ago

There is absolutely no reason why a ZX6R couldn't be your first bike. You need to respect it's power and have a clear head when riding. Don't be a squid and learn how to control that throttle. You'll be fine. Now if you find yourself consistently wanting to race people or feel that the bike just has more power than you can handle by all means get rid of it. A 2004 or earlier ZX6E would be a great choice if you want something with controllable power but still looks sporty.

EDIT - I wouldn't have recommended buying the ZX6R as a first bike but since you already have it give it a go before selling it.

Anyone here have the LANAP Procedure done? by zendawgin Denver

[–]lensgrabber 0 points1 point ago

I've seen plenty of youtube videos and a good amount of forum posts here and there with people having LANAP but nothing specifically in this area. Tracey Hughes in Louisville has the highest marks for general dentistry but nothing really concrete on this particular subject. Very frustrating.

Did you ever find anyone that has gone through the procedure? I'm considering the same.
