I had just popped out a 9 pound 11 ounce giant with no drugs when the doctor told me my bleeding wouldn't stop. They had to give me a drug to help it and she warned me that the side effect was lots of poop. Great. So they give it to me, my bleeding slows down, and literally 40 minutes after I had just squeezed out gigantor, mind you I tore three different ways, I had to poop. A lot. It was horrifying. I felt like my whole bottom was just gonna fall out and hit the toilet. I swear those stitches were about to all just just open. I filled that squirt bottle 3 times before I was finally able to relax enough and just "let it happen". It's been a week and I still take stool softeners and am scared every time I go to the bathroom. My boy on the other hand, has no problem pooping. So far so good.

But that's my story. Good luck with all the poops!

My uterus ruptured while I was having my daughter...my doctor was literally elbow deep in my vaj. First and only time Ive ever been fisted. ;)

My legs do this too. Not sure if it has something to do with my hip dysplasia or what. I didn't even notice until 8th grade in PE when someone pointed out my "throwback" legs. Then they got called kick stands, ostrich legs, etc. good times.

My cat used to get UTIs all the time until we started giving him distilled water instead of stuff from the sink. Maybe that will help?

I'm done having babies for sure! No More for me! I'm getting better with time management already. We spent a good hour having a tea party and playing with Barbuda as baby slept. Thanks so much for the pep talk!

Thank you. I took everyone's advice. Stopped with the fenugreek, stopped pumping, and have just been going on demand at the breast. Last night went a lot smoother than the night before and things are already getting better. Y'all are awesome! :D

Yes with the lipstick thing. Not all the time but occasionally. I asked for a lactation specialist at the hospital and the nurse kind of laughed at me and sent another nurse in. She watched me nurse for about 5 seconds said "yep, you got it" and left :-/

His pediatrician actually fussed at me today for nursing on demand and told me I need to get him on a schedule. So I guess I'm just gonna start coming to reddit for advice instead of doctors. They also told me I needed to pull his foreskin back when I change his diaper, which I knew was wrong, but that's a whole different story. So...stop taking the fenugreek. Keep feeding on demand. Lots of lanolin and suck it up and let him nurse at the breast. I'm gonna try! It's just so tempting to hand my husband a bottle of breastmilk and get some sleep! Thanks for the advice! Should be pretty helpful.:)

I delivered a baby boy 5 days ago and was on reddit the entire time. Seriously. Updating r/babybumps about every hour. His picture was up about 30 minutes after he was out. Reddit helped me keep my mind off the pain and stick with my plan to deliver with no drugs. It worked.

TL;DR I really love reddit.

Ive been taking the fenugreek because the pediatritian recommended it. I started pumping because my nips have had it. Little man is nursing every hour. I'm trying for the every 2-3 hours thing but it just seems like he's always hungry. We were having some blood sugar and now jaundice issues so the doctor is telling me 15 minutes on each breast and then to give him formula after that. I haven't been giving too much formula though, just thought that if they were wanting me to give formula after that maybe I wasn't making enough milk. I'll pump the two ounces straight into a bottle and he gulps it down like nothing. An hour later he's crying and sucking on his hands again. what am I doing wrong?!

I introduced the pump to give my nipples a break. My son has been nursing seriously every hour. Im thinking about just pumping and feeding him with a bottle. Scabby bleeding nips just isn't fun. I am a stay at home mom though, so letting him just nurse at the breast wouldn't be hard I'm just being a cry baby. I'm new to all of this. What would you recommend? Had no clue about the foremilk hindmilk thing. He was up all night long last night with what I guess was a tummy ache. Maybe I've already screwed it up :-/
