Is an OCZ ssd better than an Intel X25-M?I'm considerng ssd's around $450 ballpark
I'll do some googling and search on Apple's website. I don't necessarily need a 500gb hard drive, as I won't use it for any graphic design, just basic student-type work.
I just got off the phone with an AppleCare rep, and they didn't know if it voided the warranty or not. Let's assume the worst and say it does, should I go ahead and get the pre-configured SSD or just stick with a standard drive?
I always have the option of upgrading to an SSD for sheer performance gain, and, like you said, the out-of-the-box 13" MBP are super awesome machines, as I've used several of my friends' MacBook Pro's.
Trashing the drive = constantly transferring gb's of information?
That's what I've read, the Intel G2's are incredible, but my concern is switching it out without voiding my Applecare that I'll purchase.
Will I notice the difference between Apple's supposed Samsung SSDs vs. IntelX25MG2 when I haven't used an SSD before?

I'm finishing a double major with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies and Theology.
I plan on going to seminary to get a MA in Biblical Counseling, where from there, I desire to work with high school aged students through being a youth pastor, counselor, or some type of ministry work through a parachurch ministry.
I'm in a moderately successful indie rock band called mewithoutYou. AMA by the_touristin IAmA
the music mwY produces is incredible. everytime i listen to any album, i am so inspired. the raw lyrics are uncommon in music these days, so i definitely appreciate the music y'all create.
