YSK about the passing lane on all multi-lane highways. by MojoJoshin YouShouldKnow

[–]jonivy 1 point2 points ago

The upvotes on this comment make it clear that people simply don't understand even this most simple concept. Yes, you should get over for that "ass clown." Why? Because, that's what the lane is for. For passing. Your "goal" in that lane, should be to get out of it. And if that makes your driving experience a hectic one, then good. You should should be alert and conscious while driving.

To anyone who's saying this is too simple or just not what you want to do: It's the law. Just like that speed limit thing, or the law that says you can't run stop signs. Obey it.

Only hotel showers? Does that mean you have a custom tall-person shower at home?

I'd deliberate till the bribes at least totalled 10 million, and then go with google anyways. (So that's probably what they're doing)

Ok, the list itself, on its face, isn't terrible. There are a lot of good ideals being expressed. The whole thing can even seem a little redundant, because frankly a lot of those things are illegal and clearly unconstitutional.

So the problem comes when you ask the simple question of "Why?" Why does this organization want us to swear to refuse these 10 orders? Why not simply be an organization that promotes the constitution, and upholding our oaths? What specifically do they want to do, and what does it have to do with US service members.

Very simply, these men want revolution. Either on a large scale, (Such as a full succession of a state), or on a small scale (Such as declaring a compound that they own a sovereign nation).

They want the ability to declare their homes and community outside the purview of the federal government.

(Now, the why they want such a thing, probably has something to do with being allowed to fuck their own daughters... and yes the actions of the founder, leader and main organizer of this kind of group are important to understanding the groups intent)

The point is, they want US servicemembers to swear an oath, so that when the group declares something sovereign, and then declares war on the federal government, that said servicemember will not take actions against them.

That's it. That's the whole thing. There's nothing more to it. I don't know how I can explain it any better.

It wasn't a link to an article. It's a link to a search for articles. There are several articles there. Did you read all 10 articles that came up related to Stewart Rhodes, the group leader? Cause I sure as hell didn't. Here, have some more articles that I'm not inclined to read http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&gl=us&tbm=nws&q=Oath%20Keepers

Interesting, I didn't even bother reading and commenting on the news articles related to this group. I just provided you with a link to such articles, so that you could research yourself. What you found in your research is obviously negative... and I suppose that's what you're reporting here. Why would my very relevant link be downvoted? And Why do you seem to be arguing against me, as if I had commented on these articles. I just gave you a link to an article search. I could change the site to google, would you still make the same comment? Inconceivable.

I've never personally walked through a field of dead children, and I'd prefer not to. Do you mean, that you would prefer to walk through a field of dead children than abide people that you believe to be closeminded? I only ask, because, that's exactly what you just said. Maybe you meant something else. Either way. You can't agree to a question.

Oh, I thought your questions were sincere. I had no idea you were being rhetorical. When I said to look up the answers yourself, I was not being sarcastic. This is not an encyclopedia here, man. If you sincerely want to know more about this group, then go look it up. Google it. If you didn't have a sincere question about the group, and just want to argue their cause, then I don't understand why you keep asking me questions.

And by the by, when I say "THESE ARE PEOPLE THAT BELIEVE THE CONSTITUTION OUTLAWS A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT," that is me making my point, defending my point, and calling these guys idiots who never should have been allowed to graduate from middle school.

This thread keeps sending me back to google to lookup information on this group and the core members of it, and honestly, I'm sick of reading about this bullshit. These are people that believe the constitution outlaws a federal government. In other words, they ate paint chips while growing up. I'm not going to be reading anything more from these complete retards, but if you want to scour the interwebs, then please, be my guest. I do suggest you spend more time reading something from people aren't complete idiots instead. Go watch some TED talks.

Well, believing in something isn't wrong, especially when that something is our oath of enlistment.

But there's nothing great about armed revolution, and that is what that group is all about. These guys are your basic movie bad guys. They're radicals who not only believe the South should have won, but that the war is still ongoing.

This specific part of their campaign is about recruiting military members to be ready to switch sides when "the time comes."

edit And if you're not on board with an armed destruction of the american government, you should get out. Anything they say is just to recruit, and the closer you get to them, the more radical the ideas will be.

Crazy assholes.

"Divine Providence" says it all.

This list is repulsive. I clicked on your site because I absolutely wouldn't obey an unlawful order. I swore an oath. But you're taking my oath and twisting it. Your twisted interpretation of which orders should be lawful, makes it clear that your organization has its own agendas.
