What is this? It's only a few weeks ago that I was waiting hours to get in. It's one the reasons I quit even trying after I moved to Oregon. I got in a played some tonight and was quite surprised to be able to get in so easily. My prediction is that this is not something that will last very long, especially if meet the pyro gets released soon. I know I"m going to try to get back to my regular playing if I can.

You really can't go wrong with Shostakovich. I've yet to hear anything by him I didn't like, and he has music for just about every possible mood / setting. If you like slow and beautiful, check out his Romance from the gadfly suite. If you like frantic, check out the second movement of his symphony no 10. the key issue is that both the student and the professor must be prepared to be wrong. Even if you think you're right, you're still the student and there may be some vital component you're missing. I know I made this mistake several times.

Except as many people have pointed out, most of the added weapons are not 'better' in any sense of the word. For the most part, the stock weapons are the best weapons available. There are a few exceptions to that, but they are hardly a big deal.

This must be pretty common. I remember when I first started, I was desperately trying to get a back burner (this was before trading) and other drops, thinking that they would just be awesome. Natascha was a another one I really wanted. Now, I run almost completely stock on everything. Few exceptions are vita-saw / uber-saw, kritz.

On the competitive classes, the stock weapons still tend to be the best, except perhaps for the boston basher (for building uber), equalizer, and ubersaw / kritz.

Pomson 6000 draining 60% of a cloaked Spy's Cloak meter, instead of 20%

That is not how the pomson needs to be fixed. The hit on the uber charge is completely fucked up, especially because you can't hide behind someone else. The hit box is quite large as well. Draining uber serves absolutely no purpose except slow the game down as medics now have to take longer to build a charge. This is not the way you want to improve a game.

I don't rage, but having a single engineer spam that fucking weapon brings me quite close to doing so. I've strongly considered simply boycotting healing any friendly engineer who runs it.

This isn't necessarily very surprising, depending on the document. The Nazi party platform had several points of commonality with common democratic ideology. On the other hand, there are several very important points of division, like the focus on diversity, acceptance of immigrants.

It's meaningless to share some beliefs with some people, and this is a good example of that. It's actually an example of the ad hominem argument to say 'well, the nazis believed this, so therefore it's wrong.'

The problem is that the commonalities between the nazi party and the republican party seems to be things like the corporatism and hostility towards immigrants.

Out of curiosity, have you every watched chroncile play? I don't think anyone is saying that he's good because of this particular thing that happened. There is no doubt that he is an above average pyro, though quantifying exactly how much is difficult.

The simple fact is that if playing pyro is really as easy as you try to describe it, then you wouldn't be able to say 'above average.' Everyone would simply be as good as Chroncile, or FlappyFlag, or kperk, or any number of the above average pyros that play on our server.

Think about how mundane that really is. Crit sticky kills 6 people standing around on the point? Better make a video!

Here is where I think you're being disingenuous. This is an event no matter how it happens. You're contradicting yourself here, because you're basically saying that 'crit sticky killing 6 people' is common (mundane). A mini-crit reflect killing 6 people is not as common. Even if I concede your point that it wasn't particularly skillful (which I'm not conceding at all), then the rarity of this event itself warrants recognition.

Ninja-edit: and are you really saying that a kritzed demo who right-clicks, left clicks is more skillful than reflecting a rocket? If so, you're just being silly.

Anyone who says that it was just luck has never paid attention to your play on the server. You're constantly playing at a high level. No W+M1 (or M2) here. I know I can depend on you to extinguish a friendly medic when necessary and take care of those pesky spies.
