I had the same problem. Month old account, no posts no twitter or facebook profile. Everytime I sent them a message on redditgifts got no reply. Only suggestions was "metal and horror movies"...At least the did confirm and I got my rematch trophy, but still bizzare

I work full time and go to school full time which trumps your "im a douchebag" attitude. Seriously if you actually read my questions I was only explaining the situation and asking how the lights work. The 365$ seems excessive in terms of a fine IMO, even if I wasn't the one getting it.

The fine is $260 plus a $5 service fee and $60 victim surcharge. If the fine goes unpaid, the license plate cannot be renewed. The owner's driver license is not suspended for any unpaid fine, and no jail term can be imposed for the offence or for fine default.

Will the registered vehicle owner receive any demerit points? No, but red-light runners ticketed by police and subsequently convicted will receive three demerit points.

I was under the impression from the city page that there were no demerit points associated with a camera violation because they cannot prove you were driving the car. When you pay the fine all you are admitting was that your vehicle ran the light, regardless of who was driving

At no point in my posts have I ever expressed ant sentiment other than regret for my actions. I went out to pick up my cousin because I didn't want her to be taking a bus at 12:30 from Blair (a decent human action on my part). I then admitted I made a mistake by going through the light. Never did I do the typical 20 something "THAT LIGHT IS BULL SHIT NOONE WAS THERE ANYWAY FUCK THE POLICE" or whatever kids these days do. In fact, I am deserving of the fine as indicated by the Highway Safety Act. I know i messed up, I was just inquiring about how the red light cameras work, as I have only been in Ottawa for a year and where I come from did not have red light cameras.

Now if you would like some help off your high horse I would be more than obliged to help you.
