I was born with mildish Bell's Palsy, so I've lived with it for 22 years. How severe was your paralysis? And what kind of surgeries did you have?

Français Québécois? et la littérature? by apresminuitin French

Ah, Indiana! I'm down at Texas :) Yeah for sure, articles about, say, evolving pronoun usage or fine-grain phonetic details may not hold interest for everyone...

For the linguistic side, there are tons of resources, but one that comes to mind is Julie Auger's chapter on Quebec in Le français en Amérique du Nord: état present (edited by Albert Valdman, Julie Auger, and Deborah Piston-Hatlen), as long as you don't mind reading in French, of course. I do research on QF and can give you some more sources via PM, if you want.

This was interesting, but I don't think the writing portions were very fair. You could fill in those gaps in any number of ways and have a viable sentence, and it wasn't clear what they were looking for.

Are you talking about her leg? From my perspective, it's just the gown that is crossing over in front of it a little bit.

TwoX, did any of you try to make it past 18 with your high school sweetheart? How'd it go? by firesoul17in TwoXChromosomes

[–]jennic 7 points8 points ago

Dated mine from age 16-20, junior year of high school to junior year of (the same) college. We definitely should not have been together for that long, even though it was great in the beginning. We just had too many differences and not enough in common besides that long shared history. When I look back, I kind of wonder what I was thinking in the later years, because it was so obvious that we weren't right for each other. But now I'm with an amazing guy who is absolutely perfect! And now I think I'm old enough to know the difference.

[FP] Keto fried chicken and homemade dipping sauce by jennicin keto

[–]jennic[S] 0 points1 point ago

I'm not sure, but I think the flour might help keep everything from falling apart in the pan. I just happened to be watching Paula Deen yesterday and she used a flour, then egg, then breading technique, so I figured I'd do the same, haha.

Yeah, intuitively, I don't think bacon would work. You need something more capable of soaking up that oil.

You need:

  • chicken breasts cut into strips/pieces
  • almond flour (maybe half a cup or so, I wasn't very precise)
  • 2 eggs
  • crushed pork rinds (I did it by hand in a baggie, but I think a food processor would have been better for a finer texture)
  • spices (I improvised with pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, and paprika)
  • oil of your choosing

My method:

Roll chicken pieces in almond flour, then dunk in whisked eggs. Roll in pork rinds mixed with spices. Heat a pan with a low layer of oil (I used vegetable because that's what I had), then place chicken in pan, turning occasionally. I had to check some of the larger pieces to see that they were cooked all the way through.

Sauce recipe here. I used reduced sugar ketchup. Yes it does have chili sauce which isn't very keto, but 1/4 cup in a pint's amount of sauce when you eat maybe a few tablespoons at a time doesn't amount to very much. It was delicious!

Long ago, I got mine at David's Bridal. They have dresses that are specifically for proms, or you can look at more bridesmaid-type dresses as well.

I'm not sure what the OP intends by their post. For nearly any given speaker in North America, this is already in their repertoire.
