I'm currently the mod for /r/StarWars and we are growing very big. But due to the nature of content we are becoming "family friendly". So when I checked /r/starwarsnsfw it was made but the created disappeared. When we finalize /r/StarWars transition to family friendly we'll redirect all adult content to /r/starwarsNSFW so we can have the best of both worlds.

There is no can of worms to open. We have never had a religious problem nor a political problem. The only problem I do foreshadow is a censorship problem. The second the community figures out we are pruning posts us mods may not agree with we will have reddit drama. I'm talking the really bad kind. The kind were witch hunts start. Users have always had the right and the power to voice their opinion. Its the up and down vote arrow. When they find a religious post offensive they downvote it. When they disagree with a political post they downvote it. Its what good communities do. But when you start deciding what is and isn't okay for your community that is when people get angsty. This is from 4 years of modding experience. As for reposts I like what you said in [this comment.](http://www.reddit.com/r/starwarslounge/comments/piq6t/blogspam_discussion_thread/c3pogt4) You already know my stand about NSFW posts. And I have no say regarding Blogspam. So do what you must in that field. Overall whatever rules we hash out we really need the community to fully agree and back us on it.

He is right, pretty much. I have no disagreement about that. I love Naruto as much as the next guy. When I'm in mod mode I have to act like a nanny with a room full of babies with full diapers. Its work. But because I love Naruto so much I do what needs to be done. You may not know this, but up until a month ago, no one was complaining. Then all of a sudden the userbase / community wanted rules. And they wanted the mod(s) at the time to enforce them. I've been extremely lenient and laid back up until now. I'm just trying to accommodate everyone.

Not once have I disagreed with you. Dreamcast was amazing... and that community only came after there was no more official support. We were just keeping it alive on ICU for a very very long time. The damage was done way before Dreamcast came out. People lost faith in SEGA. Because deep down, Sega lost faith in itself. And Sony & Nintendo were right there to eat its corpse like the vultures they are. I know this may sound convoluted but I think the only good thing that came out of SEGA was one less competitor Microsoft had to face, and overall the Xbox franchise. I mean, the video gaming market is already divided into 4 with xbox, playstation, nintendo and pc... imagine if sega was in there too.
