You don't have to do anything else with the checks. You just take a picture and send it. I can't remember how long it took to clear -- no more than a couple of days. Here's a link to more info about it: http://www.ingdirect.com/depositchecks/

Nope. It's just Duane Reade ones, and then there are other random ones scattered everywhere else. It doesn't have to do with Chase, it has to do with some kind of ATM network that ING is a part of.

No, not at all! They're an online bank that does pretty much everything in the world for free. Very easy direct deposit. Checks are really cheap, or you can have them send checks from your account anywhere for free. Free bill pay, free checking, free investing if you want to manage your own stocks. It's awesome.

I use ING. You can use any duane reade atm for totally free, you can use your phone to take pictures of checks to deposit them, and they have free checking and savings. It's a fantastic bank. They also have an ING Cafe in midtown east that might be able to help speed up the opening of an account.

There's tons of great options in Seattle. Garlic Jim's does good gluten free pizza. Lots of thai places in the city are also gluten-aware, so you can get rice noodle/curry/rice dishes without soy sauce in them. Portage Bay is great for breakfast with gluten free pancakes. I'm not sure of Blue Dog cafe is still open, but they also have great stuff.

I had this EXACT same experience about 7 years ago in Tacoma. Saw the exact same ship, it was silent, with the same lights. From my (and my parents) vantage point, it was hovering. We went to turn the car around to go and see what it was, and by the time we went around the block, it had entirely disappeared without any noise.

I've looked into the tr-3b and tr-3a, and I think it was probably one of them. Who knows, though?

Reform and Reconstructionist Judaism allow gay rabbis. Conservative Judaism accepts gay rabbis with some reservations, but I'd imagine due to that stance, they accept gay congregants with no problem. Orthodoxy does not accept homosexuality.
